As regards Dawn supplanting Buffy, my first thought was also "Ewww!" in terms of relationships, at least. But they have a plan....

Awe :) The way Zac reacted it is obvious that he is interested in Rachel.
*gg* And watching them dance made William hot. But Buffy makes him hot all the time, that's more the truth ;-)

Gorgeous chapter. So sorry I missed the last one, but at least I had two to read!

Rachel is a good, strong character and I can see why Buffy would confide in her. It's certainly paid off and I imagine this friendship will be very good for the both of them emotionally.

I absolutely adored the Spike/Slayer role playing moment. This is yet another healthy development for their relationship and shows that the past issues have truly been put to bed. And I honestly didn't intend the pun!

Ah girl time. Rachel became a very important friend for Buffy when she was sure enough to tell her about her past but Rachel opened up too. It was a step in the right direction.

that was cute. Now she has someone besides William who accepts where she was and who she is now. Love the story. Great job. I keep picturing Rachel as like a Faith look-a-like with slightly lighter hair. dunno why - never really visualize characters before.

They are just so cute. I am glad that they can talk about Spike and not get into that nasty arguments any longer. Love how they want to make sure both are satisfied..... And they had the whole night. No more leaving right after, kicking him while down... Love it...

oh he's just so sweet!! im almost scared that you're going to bring in a twist though, like her going back to sunnydale or something....hmmmm. have to wait and see. Thanks for a great update (hope you had a good Australia day lol) cant wait to see more!

Author's Response: Buffy won't be going back to Sunnydale so you don't have to worry about that. I mentioned in my author's note in the first chapter that I would not under any circumstances be backing out of the 'Sunnydale doesn't exist' premise. So I don't mind saying it out loud cause it won't spoil anything. Thanks for the review. I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. :)
