Oh but Joyce did fit very well in this chapter. Loved the mother/daughter moment. Maybe they can take both things a bit easier from now on. ~ Loved the chapter :)

Sorry you feel so crummy, but that was a pretty awesome chapter. Yay for Joyce, the unsung hero. This chapter was nice, because at first all we see is the overly clingy (although understandably so) mother, that we fail to see all she did do for ther daughter while she was institutionalized. Although, I am looking forward to some serious Spuffy~ those kisses have been pretty promising, and I promise I've been an awfully good girl! Please, pretty, please!

I loved the line "She trusts me to make sure she always has a body to come home to" it really shows Joyce as a loving protective mother.

I see what you mean. This was hard for Buffy to see that she isn't superstrong and can't defend herself. Good that William stopped the destructing thoughts she was having. Maybe she needs to take some self defense lessons like karate. Will make her more confident. She needs something to replace the strength she had.

Yes!!! go Buffy!! here here!!! yay for standing up to her parents. Interesting to learn about Joyce and Hank--and yes, a bit of relationship wisdom from Joyce...possibly prophetic? excellent chapter!
