You did a wonderful job playing with the 'normal again' world. I loved the continuity you brought to the whole story. Your explanation for her inclusion of Spike and why he was mistreated in spite of all of his noble efforts was really clever. You were able to actually bring new depths to the original episodes with your explanations of things that did not exist in the canon version of things. Providing an impetus for her breakdown also helped tie the whole story together. I loved the whole tale, but particularly the development of William's character and understanding his perspective on Spike was just brilliant. Thanks for a very creative turn on things. I was glad that you squelched the ideas of seeing versions of the familiar characters show up in her real world etc, in your initial author's comment - it helped to set the tone. The fact that no one else from Sunnydale was in her real world, added strength to the importance of William's role in her life. It was all just fabulous.

Oh, my! I had wanted to read the first chapter before going to bed, but I ended up reading the whole thing! Great fanfic - it's very original and well written. The drama in your story feels SO real and it's not just a smut! Also I loved all the "Buffy" references which were really smart and funny (I'm glad you didn't just put a bunch of quotes from the tv show).

What an amazing story. I have read other "Normal Again" stories, but this is the best by far. I love that you were able to stick with the idea that Sunnydale and those in it never really existed. Will was perfect. You did a great job of blending Spike with just the right amount of perfect boyfriend. The "visit" from Giles was sweet and touching. It was really beautiful how accepting Will was of her need to remember these people that she had loved for so long even if they didn't exist.

I'll miss your Spuffy stuff. I've always been a fan. Good luck in your future endeavors.

I love it!! I read the whole things so far, and I love what you've done. Having Giles say goodbye the last chapter helped close so many doors. It made me feel better knowing that chapter of her life was closed, for the most part. Excellent job!

The news about the book was wonderful! And I enjoyed the Buffy/Ben conversation. It's good to know Buffy has found another friend who accepts her past, and doesn't judge her by it. Fantastic chapter!

I love that Buffy wanted to do her own thing and not get all cohabitational and dependent. And the Zac and Rachel thing is so cute!

Wow - this is a fantastic story! I can't wait to see where you take it. I have especially enjoyed how Buffy and William have dealt with Spike and the moments on Dawn (the cupcakes!) and the Giles scene. So sad. She's still so brave. It's perfect.
