I don't normally read WIPs but I have read all your other work and loved it. I've been eyeing this one for a while and finally borke down and read it. I LOVE IT. Those people who flame you for the way your story goes are off their rockers. You have me captivated from beginning to end to to be continued. I am frequently up really late or late for work cause I can't stop reading your fics. Please keep it up. Don't let RL kick your butt and stop you from writing. You have a gift :D

Great update. I'm glad to see that Buffy isn't just going to use Spike anymore, and that they're going to continue their relationship. Hopefully Spike can find a way to help Buffy out of this mess. Can't wait for another update!

Oh, Addie, not carpal tunnel!!! I strongly urge you to take it very seriously. That means you may have to update even LESS frequently. I'm on year 4 of recovery from a similar work-related condition. Believe me, it haven't been a picnic. I hope you'll forgive me for giving you unsolicited advice. But I've experienced what it means to have to stop working as a result of a work-related injury.

An ergonomically correct work station can help a little. But there is no substitute for taking real breaks and giving your body a chance to nourish and renew spent tissues. The single most important thing you can do is take regular breaks from work. Make sure they are REAL breaks. Don't stay at your work station and make personal calls or check your email or shop online. You need to step away from your desk. Go for a walk; get a drink of water, anything that takes you out of the position and physical environment in which you work. Do a few stretches - especially upper body stretches and, if possible, do something that boosts your heart rate at least briefly. Go up and down a couple flights of stairs, walk around the block, run in place, it doesn't matter. The severity of your injury is in direct relationship to the duration and intensity of your work. Your muscles and nerves need time to rest and regenerate after periods of extended use. If you overuse a muscle, joint, or nerve long enough it may need weeks to recover. Overused extremities send stress messages to your body that result in the production of adrenaline – the “fight or flight” chemical. Over time, flooding your system with this chemical is very destructive.

Buffy is afraid to name what they have? Fears it will go away.... But she spilled the secret now. Buffy was very naive to sign that paper but just because she trusted Liam. Our law has a clause when something is "immoral" ("Unconscionable", "ordre public"?) the contract isn't binding, it is void. I'm not sure it's the same where Buffy lives but I'm sure if there is she doesn't now of it. She would need a very good lawyer, ready to fight against Liam.
It's a huge task Spike wants to do, saving Buffy. A good plan; almost at last. Spike forgot Liam. How long till he'll find out? And it seems Spike has to earn a lot of money.
