Wow I really feel sorry for Buffy ! Her life has changed so much! And I don't even think poor Spike realises how miserable he is. He has never known anything but a tumultuous life.

I'm loving it so far. you are NOT afraid to twist these characters around!

I'm curious to see where you are going and why Spike is still with Dru.

At this point of the story, it almost doesn't seem like it could even be possible for Spike and Buffy to find their way back to each other. But you've surprised me before... *grins*

I like that both Buffy and Spike revealed a little about themselves that they were hoping to keep hidden- Spike with the dropping out of school, and Buffy with the whole stripper thing. I also found it a little reassuring that William didn't run off and become Spike right after he initially left. I don't know why, but I just really liked that.

And Spike is off...again... things don't look to good for Buffy now, since I am sure Liam knows everything... Really angsty, but I love it, and I can't wait to read how they finally will make it.

Whoa~ Heavy stuff. I know that your fics take the characters on a long journey, but they are always deeper, richer characters for having had the experience. Poor Buffy and Spike are so screwed up that I hope one of them, at some point, quits trying to hurt the other~ either as a means for revenge or as a way to improve their poor self-esteem. Sadly enough, I think it's going to be the younger William that finally stops the insanity. Interesting how much these two want each other, but still manage to inflict so much emotional damage right after (or during) the physical act itself. Thanks for the great update! I was so very happy to see that you had posted!! Can't wait for the next chapter!

*Gulp* I hope Spike and Buffy will soon be able to give each other comfort instead of pain. I trust you are going somewhere with this story and I can't wait to find out where. Each chapter is worth the wait.

I knew it! I knew he and Dru were screwing. I think he will continue to have violent, conflicted feelings toward Buffy until she confesses the truth about their first encounter and why she hurt him! Very hot chapter! I love angry passionate Spike!
