I feel so bad for William. It's amazing he's turned out as well as he has considering his absolute wankers for parents. He and Buffy so deserve each other. She's deserves to have someone who is gentle and kind and thinks she's as worthy as she is. I can't wait to read where this takes them and see Angel get a swift kick to that block head of his!

I don't like the way Liam treats Buffy but on the other hand I'm glad. He drives her away with that, treating her as if she was a child, a minor. I think I said it before (?, not sure) even if Liam loves Buffy it's more about property, prestige. And Buffy takes it all as long it is her (that Liam does it too like when she didn't want to sleep with him). For William, she spoke to Liam regarding him.
I think Buffy loved Liam when she married him. At last she thought it. Maybe being thankful (for 'saving' her) was a bigger part of it than she thought. She confuses gratefulness with love.. just my thought ;-)
But the way Liam treats his own son... I've seen better. Would be good (a good distraction) if Liam did believe William loves man ;-) But he knows now that William wants Buffy too. That was a rough behavior. But William hasn't a lot of luck with both of his parents, seems to me.
William doesn't dare to tell Buffy the truth about Liam (what he did / how he acted). I can understand the reasons why he doesn't do it.
Oh Addie, I'm sorry about your 'writer's block'. I feared that could happen because of your new job. Don't get me wrong, not in the OMG no updates!-way, just the thought because I know it myself how trained work can make you feel and getting a promotion is stressful in the sense of a lot of work. I like to do some reading then.... but my reviews aren't my best then :) I hope you'll find your muse again and continues to enjoy your promotion. So what to do? First off Liam is such a fuckn asshole. I was hoping Buffy was secretly listening outside the door to hear what a total bastard her husband is and then dump his ass. I hope William finds away to let Buffy know the truth. though Buffy's past of being a dancer might turn William off. So there are secrets to be shared and truths to be told. Liam can get so stressed and take a long walk off a short peir if that helps. Then Buffy gets all the money and can have William all to herself. yeah yeah I know it's not "Passions" we are talking about LOL.

Take your time with this let it come when it comes, you are not abondoning it.

Look for a missive from me. This story has tremendous potential. You've got great characters that have secrets and that always makes for a good tale.

This story holds particular appeal for me as I have certain issues with regard to bad, evil parents! Accordingly, whilst I've been reading this my empathy for William has really been at the fore and I have been eagerly anticipating a confrontation.

Regardless of any further illicit developments between Buffy and William, I expect some form of big blow up being the impetus for William leaving and subsequently "rebelling". I imagine lonely times ahead for Buffy, where we perhaps learn more about her past as Liam controls her further.

Vengeance would be sweet indeed.

Your writing is always such a pleasure to read Addie so however you choose to continue this story I'm sure we will all enjoy it.

For entirely selfish reasons I do hope you conquer your writer's apathy soon - I'm pretty much addicted to your stories! In the meantime, all the best in dealing with your heavy work loads.

I like this fic because Angel is the bad guy but I also think he needs some kind of punishment for the way he treats Will and Buffy. Maybe he can get caught embezzeling money or having an affair with his boss's wife or something that would put him away and let our heros be together.

I really love this story, and I hope you'll continue writing, coz I can't wait to see what happens. I myself have the feeling that at the end of the summer William goes away, and the next time he comes he's got like the whole Spike-thing going on and that he's with Drusilla...but of course I have no idea if that's what you planned:P and maybe you wern't planning on making him Spike-ish at all, I just hope you do, coz he's so cool like that:P

I've really liked this story set so far. Even though Buffy already has her doubts, she seems like a person, who's desperate to keep her life the way it is. It would really take something big, like Angel getting violent, to make her leave. Even if Buffy and William ould consummate their relationship and Angel found out, Buffy might still stay with him, because she wanted to save their marriage so bad. I can definately see Angel making either William or Buffy, or both, do what he wanted them to do, just by threatening to hurt the other on somehow. Maybe Darla could rush in to rescue William somehow,, after gettint a new heart. :) Well, these are just my ideas. I see angst in the future.

I love this fiction, and I hope your muse will sprinkle you a healthy dose of inspiration. As for my ideas to where it could go, I sort of imagine William leaving the house, because resisiting to Buffy while fearing Liam discover them in a delicate situation, becomes too hard to handle for him. So buffy would be stuck with Liam like before except now she is missing someting (someone) and Liam notice and shows his true colours.... Meanwhile, I suppose William needs to have experience of his own with other women, but with Buffy still imprinted in his heart. Now how do you get them back together...??? Maybe Liam abuses Buffy and she seeks help from William (later in life)...
Anyway, I hope to read you still, since you are one of my favorite writer, and this story so far is my very favorite. I love angsty ficitons, because they make the happy ending worth the wait.

Have to admit that I read at first because the dynamic from William and Buffy was just so molten as a coming of age story. Angel has just become such a b***ard in this fic that they need to escape. Thought that this story would either become an angstfest (sometimes a genre that I appreciate as long as I get brief respites of tenderness) or nautibitz style of taboo. I have great appreciation for how you've written William (he's a sensitive and very eager young hormore waiting to happen) and how he may have to take on Spike as a protective shell for his own survival. Buffy alas comes from the stripper with a heart of gold background who lands in the lap of luxury via a cruel and manipulative husband. She's still a kid even though she's judging the world by jaded eyes. William's innocence in some ways is her salvation and motivation to make her own way in the world after realizing her very precarious situation. Do hope that we can somehow out Angel/us from their lives without extreme cruelty to our favorite couple (say he gets arrested for a crime and there is proof is that he did it). This would allow them the separation from him to pursue their clinging to each other, get Angel out of the way and probably a reasonable explanation for them moving forward separately from him. Or you could just go back into naughty romp mode and have them enjoy their solace in each other. Thus have Angel unaware as the cuckhold, William can go back to his Mom, and Buffy/Angel can implode reasonably, then allowing Buffy the justification to leave (just like the others did). Just a few thoughts on how you can go. I really did like how early on in the fic Buffy "wanted to be good" but the temptation was just so much that she couldn't resist William. Guess you need to decide how you want your fic...slick and unrepentant in its taboo subject...or angsty. Your writing is excellent, and I hope you will feel motivated to keep on the story. I always look forward to your updates.
