I feel so bad for her. Such a heartbreaking thing to go through. And it sounds like Buffy's life before wasn't very good either. Hopefully she will tell William her story, and it will help some. More please.

Oh my, so Lilly is indeed dead. Had to be, I knew that, yet to read she is? That makes it more real. At last she wasn't alone, was with her mother. *sniff* Even when Buffy is now speaking.
I'm glad I caught up with your story (for now). Looking forward to read more; can be I fall behind again but I'll catch up at some point.

Good that Parker called, especially that he noticed Buffy sitting there. They simply let Buffy go? But she was there first because of her baby.
Having no sleep at all? No wonder Buffy was so off.

Author's Response: hahaha you said handled :-) Sorry...had to. So yeah, I struggled with even putting that into this chapter. I thought that maybe it was inappropriate for the so far EXTREMELY somber mood of the story...then I thought I'm absolutely going to put this in here. William is at heart, I guy. Furthermore, he's a good guy. He wants to help Buffy because that's what he promised to do and he feels so sad for her but again, he's a GUY and Buffy's hot so he sees her, especially in her underwear, and his mind goes directly to MMMMM...Boobies! So him being a guy would NEED to work off a little bit of that unresolved tension :-)

Poor Buffy. Poor William, too--he's so careful with her, so caring. Excellent chapter--love the banner, too!

This is such a lovely story hon. I love that he let her get it out, sometimes that's all one needs to be able to do. I love him warring with himself about wanting to help her, but also being a guy and noticing her. this is so great.
