Buffy feeling calm enough to finally fall asleep highlighted her trust and comfort with William. The details are making this story vivid, you're doing a great job setting the scenes. William breaking down right along with Buffy was very moving. I'm really enjoying the connection you're building between these two.

Another good chapter showing William's growing attachment to Buffy. I liked the contrast of William sharing his thoughts with a zoned out Buffy in her quiet hospital room and William holding back his thoughts from a prying Xander in a crowded, noisy bar.
