I'm usually so reluctant to start reading new authors or new stories. But for some reason, I gave in and started reading when I got home from work today. I am so glad I did. I couldn't tear myself away all afternoon. And now, 20 chapters later, I'm so glad I started reading. I am loving all aspects of this story so far. I'm a huge fan of angst, romance, and smut, and this has plenty of all. I can't wait for more.

I have read this far in one go and it is fantastic. I absolutely love it. The anticipation is excellent (a) between Buffy and Spike - he is being such a gentleman - and (b) everytime the doorbell rings I hold my breath in case it's Buffy's father. Please keep up the good work and update soon - it's fab.

i admire spike's will and honesty. he is trying but he has to know that he's gonna fall for buffy (if he already hasn't) and there won't be anything he can do about. buffy's so innocent and shy in this. nice little change from what i usually read. other fic buffy's are so tainted and bitter. great job. loved it.

Thank you for making Angel a good guy, or at least a not-hateable guy. I never disliked him in the show and I was getting sick and tired of having to dislike him in everything i read. GREAT update! Can't wait for the next.

You're welcome ~ :) And Angel got caught?*gg* Well he'll find a new girl soonish. ~ Loved Spike's musings about Buffy and he. He has fallen so deep for her (even if he can't acknowledge it to her). And him being a caveman was fun. He was ready to defend Buffy against Angel (him coming into his territory). Anya must indeed be careful that she won't tell too much (too many people). So now they are in the bigger apartment. I wonder if animals are aloud there anyway. ~ Looking forward to more :)

Loved this chapter!! I really like this caveman attitude of Spike and the innocence of Buffy is really sweet. I'm kind of surprised that Spike let so much people know about Buffy. Just hope he won't regret it later.
Anyways, thanks for the amazing update, cant wait for more (and I'm not the only one, trust me, I read this fic, my sister reads this fic and a best friend reads this fic ; trust me, your fans are here!)

So Buffy came to a decision.. but when going through with it she startled him. *g* Spike didn't expect her to take action. Loved the way Spike handled this situation, not hurting Buffy. It's hard to explain why you don't want somebody and still want somebody. Spike too had some problems to explain it without getting too much in trouble for telling ~ Loved it :)
