after reading this scene, i so wished that spike was there with her on the show when this happened. lol. great job. please post soon. i'm wondering how this is gonna play out. will buffy and spike leave together when all this is over? will they even have the chance to leave??? great job. more soon.

Clearly has them tied together for a hell of a long time. Their dynamic was amazing and the way his demon just knew that she was his, I've loved every word. Amazing chapter. Please, update soon.

What I hoped for... Spike's demon recognized Buffy as his and didn't kill her. But he thinks Buffy doesn't love him the way he does. That's sad; we'll see if he is right or not about that. Like he said, he is Buffy's now. Now Buffy has to acknowledge what she feels; when she knows it herself ;-) But first there is a watcher to safe. Looking forward to it.

I really like how you're still writing Spike as being in transition, like not really giving much of a damn about Kendra being offed, and only thinking that just maybe a dusty Dru would be a bad thing. I feel bad that Spike is so conflicted, but it makes for a wonderful and satisfying read.

Looking forward to Spike and Buffy to the rescue!

Wonderful update! Poor Buffy, having to deal with all of that at once. I'm glad Spike is there to help her. It'll be alot easier now that Drusilla's actions have spoken for themselves. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

Mmm missing info after posting? Second try:
I'm kind of reading before Thursday but I don't think you'll have a lot of time before your operation. So on to the story now:
Buffy was distracted seeing Spike crucified I guess or she should have noticed that Spike wasn't dust yet.
But he is not very conscious, the demon is 'in the driver's seat'. I wonder if Spike's demon will recognize Buffy as something more than food. Too bad she didn't think first of getting the blood for Spike; but good she used the warm water now she's in the tub too. ~
Looking forward to more if you're ready to post again.
