Hee hee hee...can't hide the truth....never stays hidden forever! Especially when Spike has a plan, because he doesn't stop said plan until the plan fails. And now he can ask about the truce with Giles and Willow, too. And why are they still hanging around in the school, when it's the place that Jenny was very easily killed in? Free invitation =bad?

Buffy's annoyance with Giles' prying was very funny. Buffy's inner dialogue was revealing, and I enjoyed her mental replay of encounters with Spike.

I loved this line: "There had never been a more frightening moment than the widening of Spike’s eyes as he grasped his wound, and the love-drenched betrayal that he’d washed her in before toppling over the railing." Buffy really getting to the heart of the Grace/James saga was lovely.

Spike's arrival was vivid and that "Hello, cutie" line is one of my personal favorites. The last exchange built the tension beautifully.

I love it, the dynamic between the vamps and the way Spike is reacting so to Buffy and her kisses. Wondering why he feels more from this possessed encounter than he ever got from 100 years with Dru. He's got to know that there is more between him and this particular slayer than he wants there to be. I can't wait to see Buffy's reaction to this little encounter and to see where there next meeting takes them. The story is phenomenal. I just love it.

Lucky for him that he can move so fast and that Dru is insane; he cover would have been blown if they new that he can walk. Oh bollocks indeed! Angelus knows. That't bad. Ah well: Angelus doesn't believe Spike to be a threat? Good for him now especially when he still wants to help Buffy to fight Angelus. Dru told...but Angelus didn't listen (understand her).

Excellent chapter. I found Spikes ending thoughts to be a little ambiguous. Is he planning to try again to kill her? Or is he planning to try again at asking for help? Is the "no more" in reference to how Buffy made him feel or the disrespect from his family? Does he even know? : ) Can't wait for the next update. Are you planning on this being as long as Beloved in Blood?

How did Angelus find out? Did Dru clue him in or what? Hmm. Good chapter. Really enjoying this story. :)

This is fantastic!! I love the spin that you've put for this eppy, most especially the confusion on both sides. So glad that Spike's the one that's pulling away---not the infatuated---and Buffy's the one that's drugged by his kisses. Can't wait to see what's next!!
