I really have been enjoying your excellent story! Just one minor nitpick with chapter 14; LA gets plenty of cold weather. Tomorrow we're getting a storm and temperatures won't get above 60. And it can snow in Las Vegas. :-) I know; I'm a weather nerd! lol

Author's Response: See, I knew someone was going to say something about that! And truth be told, Las Vegas is running in the high 40's, low 50's right now...I know this because I live in Nevada. So, as I was reading this I started thinking about good old Oliver, he sleeps with a lot of girls, tells others about it, and is hidding something. I'm thinking he's gay and doesnt want anyone to know.
Buffy was half right about the hat, it only works if Spike keeps it on his head. We are slowly finding out about Buffys past, I wonder who it was that hurt her so bad?

Even though I'm a woman, it still upsets me when another woman insists that all men are the same kind....it's not logical, and couldn't be true. The math just doesn't work. It is hard after you've been hurt to trust again, but it's not like it's everyone in the world'd fault that you aren't trusting. It's just better to move on with life.

I am just trying to figure out Oliver's game. I really hope he is a true friend to Spike. And it was too cute to see Spike all shy and angsty to ask Buffy for a kiss. This is such a great story.
