The connection between Buffy and Xander's thoughts is incredibly beautiful, and it seems so true to form that Xander would finally be able to understand what Buffy has felt for Spike, after he himself is given a chance to evaluate his own life and love.

Poor Spike and Anya- please bring them back, they're both the most wonderful characters.

Loved the flashback, Anya's confession sure explained a lot of things. And the closing scene was just wonderful. Fantastic story!

The story is off to a great start. I'm really enjoying your characterizations. I loved these glimpses into Buffy and Xander's heads. Now i'm off to read the next chapter. :D
