The truth? Good decision. And Buffy had a lot of basics to tell too. I love the thought that Spike still remembers love (being in love with Buffy) (or remembers again).
I didn't think Buffy was able to acknowledge that she loves Spike. But good she could. Spike needed the reassurance that the loves him / could love him.

I'm enjoyinyg this story very much, but I just had a thought and I don't remember anyone asking you previously. Did Xander irradicate Spike's chip when he shot him? If so; how long before the others notice it's not working, especially with Spike still not being completely aware of what it means to be a vampire..........just curious::))

Very intense, and fabulous! I love how Spike is becoming more articulate now that he's had blood from his sire. I love how he's forgotten so much but not love, and the naturalness of that statement, as well as the "Duh" moment that Buffy has due to his loving nature. Hopefully now, Buffy will show him how much she loves him, and she'll know she's not taking advantage of him.

I'm glad Buffy didn't waffle and take the easy way out. It had to be done and it was best to come from her sooner rather than later. This will certainly ease some of Spike's confusion and help him to understand some of her reactions to him.

I'm glad you haven't rushed into dealing with Xander. Although I am certainly looking forward to having him meet a suitable and gruesome end, I am glad that you are taking the time to let Angel help Spike get stronger and also to solidify Buffy and Spike's relationship. Anya has gotten a chance to move on with someone far more mature, so the pieces are slowly coming together. I wonder what would happen if Buffy gave Spike some of her blood - slayer blood has got to be pretty helpful too I imagine.

Anyway, looking forward to the next update. This is truly a fantastic tale.

Angel didn't have to tell Spike not to kill; he'll do that. Just the contrary: he would do everything to protect Buffy and Dawn.
The sire blood had help Spike heal too. He's better and asking a lot of questions. Especially the last one: what Spike was for Buffy... I wonder if she'll tell him she loves him. ~ Till next chapter!
