Giles does have a crush though; or the begin of one. And Anya doesn't mind it either :) I think it's good that Giles does care.

Spike is able to feel the Sire's / childe bond yet he doesn't know that he is a vampire. In the sense that he doesn't know that he has a game face.
It's all about blood... and he almost took too much too. But now he knows what Sire means. :)

incredible chapter. spike's making so much progress so quickly. on a side note, this is the first time in years that i've been happy with angel, you write him really well. i hope buffy just answers with her heart and drops all the stipulations of the past.

Very touching, Buffy's quiet confession. But now she's got an almost fully aware Spike to face, and the idea of saying 'I love you' is a bit more intimidating now. Good to see some of Spike's aggression coming back. As usual, his thoughts are on those he cares about, instead of just himself. Love this story!

Go girl! The one thing I really like about Anya is that desptie the pain of it all, and despite seeming like a fish out of water, she does try and she seems to have a good heart. Great way to show that spark of connection!
