At last Spike starts to feel a bit more secure now. Even it's sad that he still think he's nothing (Buffy will chose Xander over him). He needs time (an encouragement) to overcome that / to get better.
And good that Buffy started to see that is could be Xander, that she was a bit more open.
And with Spike's reaction to Xander? Buffy shouldn't be able to deny the truth any longer.

Yeah, Buffy!! I'm so glad she's swimming out of denial. Love the way Angel is able to concede that she wants to protect Spike, and wisely doesn't fight her directly on pushing for acknowledgement of Xander's guilt. But nice way to end the chapter~ now to see how Buffy will handle it.

Idon't know if it sucksmore to be Buffy or Xander On one hand Buffy is coming to the conclusion that one of her best friends in the world betrayed her in a bad way.

On the other hand... most likely Xander is going to have a Slayer foot up his ass, probably to the knee cap. That doesn't sound entirely comfortable.... video camera anyone?
