Poor Spike. It's good to see how fast his brain is rebuilding itself. Also glad to see that Angel's past annoyance with him doesn't stand in the way of the family values. Even Giles is really stepping up to the plate. Wonderful story, love it lots.

Ah, living in the land of the Pharaohs makes everything easier to cope with.

I read this before I went to bed but was too sleepy to review. I'm glad Dawn saw the blood in her room although at first I had though Xander might have punched a hole in the wall. At least something is beginning to penetrate the fog that Buffy is blinded by although both girls seem to be having major issues seeing Xander as anything other than a saint. I was pretty sure that Dawn would be the first to crack though, and thank goodness she did, otherwise Buffy would still be thinking it was Angel. My, don't these young ladies have a ways to go.

are they both dim, all this denial ,why because it's Xander? If this is how they are going to react than they really can't protect Spike , and let me remind you he was not alone he was with Dawn who was a sleep and Xander still got to him. I hope you intend to give him his rocks back soon.

Dawn found the blood on the wall that Xander's attack left. And now she has a pretty good idea that something has happened even if she doesn't want to believe it. But she does, she went to talk to Buffy too. Still maybe tries to remains in denial. Though I wonder how she can now... seeing the blood. And Dawn's dream. *grumble* At last Buffy is doubting /considering now it could be Xander. That's more than before. And if they don't let anybody alone with Spike Xander shouldn't suspect to be a suspect now. He should suspect if they didn't notice that Spike was hurt. *sigh* It's not as much as it could be (acknowledging that it was Xander) but it's better then before (totally denial). ~ Till next chapter! And the best to the New Year :)

Just started reading this story, read all chapters in 2 days. Great story! I am glad to see that Buffy may be reluctant, but is starting to see the writing on the wall. I understand her resistance, but at least she's going to take more precautions. Nice to see her caring for Spike. Keep it coming! I know Xander will get his!
