Great update! Love how Buffy *wants^ to believe Xander, and how poor Spike is desperately trying to control himself in an effort to protect Dawn and Buffy.

That scene had my crying. Dawn and Spike were so neglected in the later series, it made me sad. :( But that was a truly touching moment.

Really like the story. Can't wait to see Xander get his. Wondered why you didn't have Buffy feed him some of her own blood to heal like she did with Angel when he was shot with the poison arrow. Wouldn't slayers blood have healed him quicker?

Poor Spike...he's making me want to cry. It's soooooo sad. Why doesn't Buffy accept the fact that there's a possibility that Xander isn't who she thinks he is? He may be her friend, but people change. Plus he's never liked Spike. I hope she realizes the truth before it's too late.

I've noticed a lot of ur fics have Spike being tortured or taken. Have you ever thought of writing one with Buffy beng the one hurt instead? I think it'd be an interesting fic and I would love to read about Spike being the protective one instead. Just a thought.

Anyways...I can't wait for the next chapter! I just love this story. I hate Spike's situation but I can't wait to see what happens to Xander. Hopefully he'll get what he deserves and it hurts. Update soon please!

god, for some reason i LOOOOOOVE this story, even though it's really... disturbing. and xander's the tosser who... grrr. but the fic, the plotline, the characters, EVERYTHING is bloody fantastic! i want to see if he ever recovers... i actually ran into the story on Fanfiction dot net, but thenn i discovered it here and .. yeah... poor baby though, it is really quite scary.
i'd also like to congratulate you on the fact that you wonderfully wrote he fic in a way that i suspected several men to be *him*... Xander actually being the first, with Captain Cardboard following.

I keep reminding myself that Xander just saved the world from Dark Willow (you DID say all else from S6 happened) so Buffy has even more reason than her usual loyalty to not suspect Xander.
