Buffy was to slow (and to bad hurt to go far). But being claimed was a huge surprise for her (I think in your Verse her it's enough if she doesn't say "yours" to be mated to Spike? Just for me to understand it better.)

Wow... Spike is almost caveman-like... scratch that, he IS like a caveman! I'm surprised he didn't club her on her head and drag her back by her hair. :D Spike loping on all fours is something I need to get used to - it seemed very animal like and yes, I got the message that Spike is feral and supposed to be this way. I just didn't expect him to be this animalistic and different from the Spike we all know.
I'm not complaining or anything... just rambling is all, because I still LOVE this fic and will continue reading it. Thanks for sharing, luv... it's awesome.
