(Just a thought for someone like me: I would add the author's note to the summary that the Buffy/other is only in flashbacks and that this is a Spuffy story.)
Loved the talk between Spike and Sister Bernadette. So Angel became human and wanted Buffy? I bet he didn't tell that Spike was alive or she never would have get together with Angel. (I guess she did; I don't know, neither does Spike.) And that Spike adopted "the orphanage" to protect it.

*claps* Seems like it was someone special to have this story dedicated to.

Very good. I like the Spike character, very mysterious and holding on to the demon like he has nothing else to hold on to.
