I missed your previus update so I was delighted to have two chapters to read.

I regret that you feel the need to explain the horror within your story. As I see it the emotional events are a realistic representation contemporary to such conflicts and you have done a wonderful job in arousing the strong feelings that should be experienced when reading of such atrocities.

It will be difficult to reconcile a romantic relationship from such a premis, but the issue is not whether we should hate Spike for his actions, but rather whether we should hate the machinations leading to his actions.

War is not personal, yet the consequent devastation always is. After all, how many fathers, mothers and children wold Hank's arsenel have killed?

I could write a dissertation on this so I'm shutting up now!

Great chapter; I love Rose as the voice of reason and I am looking forward to more.

Hmm I think you should have given William a background as an English soldier instead of a West Point all american soldier. It just don't seem right to me that you give away a lot of his personality that way.

Then you wrote that he wore a Lt. Colonel uniform but then he became a Major. Kinda confusing really.

Nice to see a bit of soul in the right bastard, I understand your point and from his point of view he did do the right thing... but youi've written it so well I cnat help but feel enraged for the girl. I'm really interested to see how this goes , I can feel the potential for greatness here, not too many can play the repentance card well- but this story gives me the same feelings I felt when reading Winter's Storm. You're a great writer, things are tense now and I am so excited to see how life at the camp and the relationship unfolds!
