Good update. Wonder what's about to happen? They've been raiding Union camps or at least taking the spoils from the raids? Maybe their secret is out.


BTW, please take your time. It's always better to have a well written Spuffy fic that takes time to develop plot and characters than one that rushes into the so called "good stuff" only to have it feel forced or the plot be paper thin, or worse, full of inconsistencies. Please, as long as you finish - take the time you need.

Wow... Just... Wow! That was a truly amazing start, and I really enjoyed reading it. It's always great to see Buffy retaining her natural character, no matter what the time period, and this story is no exception.

if i have to judge from the premise... this story is gonna be great! :D

the historical set is fantastic and makes everything seem more real (an less... fictional). elizabeth is strong and caring, and for once her dad seems a nice person. it will be interesting to see william recover...

A good start. You've done your Civil War homework, and the scene is well set. And since the English stillhad plenty of ties with the South before the war, let alone during, you can even keep Spike's accent, if you want.
