Author's Response: Yeah, first mountain that needs traversing is definitely Buffy. She'll either be a dynamic character or a character with a tragic past; but either way, she won't be a ditz for long. I really don't like downplaying the love interest, but I think it makes the story that much more appealing and different. Thanks for commenting.

Haha, oh man. Well, I have to say, my calculus BC class is a LOT different. At my school, the prereq is pre-calc, and after that, you can take either calc AB or calc BC, because the first semester of calc BC is the same as calc AB... I've always wondered why schools make AB the prereq for BC, when the first half of the year is all review anyway. You might as well move along faster. Also, everyone stereotypes the smart kids as they quite and shy ones, but my school... eh, not so much. Mostly, it's a bunch of talkative, intelligent, well rounded, involved people who want to challenge themselves. I'm not personally offended by your story, or others that generalize in this way, but I think it happens to often and people should recognize that just because you're smart doesn't mean you're quiet and well mannered. In fact, it often makes people more obnoxious and egotistical, or at least some people. Well, enough about my calc class, great addition to the story and I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: I was just thinking of an advanced class I knew pretty well that had a lot of reviewing so Spike could fluff it off. BC, which I thought was a complete waste of time the first half because I had already taken AB, quickly came to mind. Sometimes people take AB before BC where I live, but it's not required, like you said. I concur completely on the smart kid thing; hell, I'm probably in that category of people. Everyone in my Cal class was outspoken, witty, and sometimes sarcastic. Really, though, _every_ person is unique, not only the smart kids, and I'm trying to make a point by pressing how conforming everyone is at this school. I'll probably flesh out the class a bit further, although mainly I'm sticking to stereotypes right now so Spike can break them. Sorry if the stereotypes offend anyone, though popular stereotypes are meant to be offense as I'm bitter. ;) Just setting up the story in a really cut-and-dry, black-and-white manner. Thanks for the comment; I'll be sure to stick to stuff really in Calculus now. ;)

Yeah lets get to the part wher they "study'..This is a great story and its coming along very well!!!
