Author's Response: So glad you are still liking the story. Riley sucks, there's no doubt about that and I liked killing him off. I am hoping to get a chapter out sometime before this weekend, but I need to get one out for Breathless first before my readers get too angry. haha.....sorry, but I had to laugh when Spike treated buffy like dirt. See it is not fun when it is the other way around.
That being said. I'm glad that spike when to apologized to buffy. Something that buffy from the show probably wouldn't do. AT least not right away.
Author's Response: You are totally right. In season 6 Buffy would have never apologized to Spike for her actions because he was just a thing to her and things don't have feelings. Season 7 Buffy would have eventually. Thanks for the review!

Author's Response: Thanks Sam. Buffy always had a bad morning after and I wanted that to be in the story. Plus, I have always wanted Spike to treat her the way she treated him in the show. Thanks again and I will try to get something out soon. This weekend is my 1 year wedding anniversary and I will be without computer for several days. I am pretty sure my hubby would oppose me borrowing my sisters laptop on our vacation!

Glad about the S/D part being over (sorry, I just don't like reading it; ignore me).
The next morning didn't start well for Buffy; Spike was just lashing out, hurting her. I'm glad the turned around and saw with his own eyes what he did to her. And that he asked; never expected Riley to leave a pregnant wife behind him to get killed. The baby died when Buffy was killed I assume. That's a reason for revenge. I hope Spike won't think so bad of Buffy now.
Author's Response: I know I was taking a HUGE risk putting the S/D part into the story, but the idea just came to me and would not leave me alone until I put it out there. Plus, I had actually received some requests to put Dru in the story more. I actually like the character but not so much with Spike. I mean, if I could really choose who he was with it would have been me, right?! LoL! Thanks again!

I'm glad Spike had a change of heart and returned to Buffy. I'm also glad Buffy opened up to Spike about her past. I think it's a good thing they've opened up the lines of communication. I'm really curious if Spike is gonna keep his liasion with Buffy a secret though. Loved the chapter!

I am so glad that Spike went back to her and is talking with her, it seems that Buffy may not be as evil as the books say.
Well I don't really know if killing Riley was right, but it is done.

I figured making Buffy preggers at the time of her killing would be a better reason for her actions later, rather than have Riley leaving her just because he is a chicken shit. Even though Spru isn't my thing... you did do a great job with the scene, you really made me feel Dru's pain.
Loved the Spuffy interaction... Buffy embarrassing poor Spike was fun. Great chapter!

Yay!!!!!! I got my Spike/Dru lovin. Although, Spike did a terrible thing to do to her. Poor Dru. I like Dru. And finally someone writes her as a good person and have Spike hurt her that way.
My heart broke for Dru. I hope Spike at least does something nice for her to make up for what he did. I mean I know they won't get back together. Cause hey, Spike and Buffy belong together. but I still feel bad for Dru.
Author's Response: Glad you liked your Spike and Dru part even though Dru got hurt. I always liked Dru and thought she was a great character. In my story she sort of fulfills the Riley-esque character. Im planning on making Spike apologize again and try to be friends of some type. Thanks for the review!

But his subconscious mind has make itself known. So maybe the Spike/Dru part is over anyway. ~ I wonder if that means to Spike now that he is together with Buffy... Dru sent him away. I guess we'll find out later.

Spike is falling for Buffy again. She is giving in to what she wants too. Their timing could be better (bouncer). Buffy isn't together with Faith but Spike is still with Dru. He doesn't know of Faith but what will Buffy do about Dru? If Buffy will act on it what she wants though she has no right to be jealous (she fled Spike first).
