As Anya pointed out it was only the head of the council that knew about the changes. They did indeed their best not to let the truth be known. Now it makes sense: They had a purpose doing so. But they overdid it.
Interesting question(s): When Buffy’s purpose is not to slay demons, why is she called the slayer?

I always kinda wondered about that... the whole thing where she's a vampire slayer that kills anything demony. But I just put it down to they wanted to keep the title short, cause Buffy the Vampire, Demon, and other things that go bump in the night Slayer is just too long, ya know?

Angel dug himself deeper all the time, he didn’t even notice *gg*. ~ Good to see that Xander started to change. It suits him better.
And Buffy sees Spike in a different light now too. Oh he wants to be a champion. :)

Oh I love it,
Buffy sure told Angel, I don't need your help I have Spike hes a better fighter.
Spikes hand She clearly broke it as soon as she squeezed it and didn't say a word, then when she realized what she did she said sorry and he shrugged it off.
Must of been painful.
Wonder who will kill Angel, she told Wes he knew what had to be done.
Spike wants to be a champion good for him.

Wesley did interpret the prophesy wrong as Penny pointed out. What she said was logical. And now Angel is busted, Penny did tell what Angel had the powers done for him. Penny is right too, from afar Angel isn’t a big help for Buffy, protecting her. If you see it this way he lied to the Oracles, maybe not when he talked first but later.

Angel was squirming a lot not to answer Buffy’s questions. Others did; he didn’t see the importance of it, only wanting to know if Spike was there too. Duhhh twelve much like Buffy said. And now he will really be in big trouble. Penny knows about the day he had turned back and now Buffy will know it too (and the others).
(I like the bonding between Spike and Xander. So easy if you have a target in common *gg*

I had no internet and used it to read some chapters I saved from the BSV to read some day. I’m glad I had them :-D

And even better, Buffy opened her eyes to what Riley had done too and now Rile is gone :-))
Interesting titbit too that the slayer’s work was different. The Council did what suited them best. And nobody knows how it was (except of Penny and maybe some older demons). And they didn’t know about Darla... maybe Angel is in trouble now.

Oh I so do love this, This is huge to take in on one day. 7 Ch and we are still diguissing it, guess I have been out of school to long this is all taken place in one night so far. I would need breaks and time to digest it.
