Penny is awesome, I don't know if I've said that before. I love how she changes their minds about Spike. I never understood that whole vampires not being alive thing. Yeah, they're technically undead, but they walk, talk, and are capable of feeling emotions. No matter what any of them think, that sounds like a definition of being alive to me. Love this story=)

Oh my freaking god! This is awesome! I wish they had brought up the whole sentient being issue on the show! That would have been helpful.

And the part about vampires being alive... I never thought about it that way, interesting!

I haven't read this one :) If I'm quick enough I'll try to read.
A female with blue eyes, sharp cheekbones and a British accent. Who might that be? Sounds like a female Spike version. And it seems that she isn't there on her free will. Whistler and the PTBs, huh? Penny, she is a funny one. Can be good for Buffy to have her with her. Cool! She is from 'the real world' means BtVS is fiction for her. Yet: Spike thought she looks familiar :)

I'm such a dork. I just went to bloodshedverse and found the story, formatted and saved it to my story archive. That's so I can print it and bind it so that I can read this story when ever I want and not just on the computer. I don't do this much anymore (my hubby gets upset about the toner costs for the printer) but this one deserved it. I'll be a happy camper reading for a while now.

Oooh, yay, best story ever. I'm glad to see you posting it in here now. I read over at the bloodshedverse, but I will so look forward to reading this again. It's one of my fave stories=)
