HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THIS FIC! I'm afraid though...No matter how much I love Buffy and William I hope that soon she will except Spike as he is. I love William but ultimately I want Buffy to love Spike as a man and not as a killer...I want her to realize that William and Spike are one in the same.

I realize that WIliam was the man and Spike became a killer but he is the same person. I just really want Spike and Buffy to be together in the end and by loving William she can come to love Spike because she saw who he once was and who, in a way, still is.

Anyway...AMAZING FIC! I can't wait for the next update!

Oh no she ran away and he is capable of tenderness with her just as much as she is with him no wonder he had explosive rage and took it out on the first thing that came along. I pretty much thought she would run off I'm not sure I'd call what she did using him or not but I cannot wait to see what comes next!

It was more a case of getting caught up in the moment ... once he touched her, she just fell apart and allowed herself to indulge in a fantasy. That doesn't make it any easier on him, of course. Like a moth to a flame burned by the fire I cannot resist this story. It is better then watching the old shows I think Joss should give you a call to do a movie. Tara was so moving in her trying to be understanding I just loved your version of her but the real capper for me on this was the flashback part and you just feel Buffys lose of William. I keep cheering for Spike to just hold on and to wait for Buffy to acept her feelings for him when she just lets go.

I know that a lot of readers are angry with her right now, and I completely understand why they would be. But she really isn't trying to hurt Spike. It's just difficult for her to admit that William was capable of becoming the killer that Spike once was. You're right, Spike just needs to hang on until she is able to accept it and move on.

Really a phenomenal story and I will be looking for it from now on. I would reccomend this to eveyone as a standard in fanfiction.

This took me a couple of hours to ewas but it was really worth it . It kinda reminds me of a minseries of the Sunnydale variety

This was a interesting love scene in the fact that she makes him just as unsure of her as he was all those years back when he was just William. She makes him quiver and gasp and melt under her touch. Even when she gets up and runs off his reaction and trying to figure out what went wrong is just like he was as William. I got the feeling her intense stares at him after the act was her looking for some sign of her William still inside the shell she perceives Spike to be.
--- He had that same look in his eyes now—that very same look. William’s eyes in the shadows of a sleeping rose-tree: desperate and hungry, pleading with her. Hardly hopeful. How was it that Spike could so perfectly mimic that expression? Was he doing it on purpose? It didn’t feel like an act, but she couldn’t understand how something so wicked could look so beautiful, so soft. For a moment, she could almost believe---

It was like for a second she could see him and want to believe he was still there inside of him. There is a lot of grey areas to their relationship cause you see it all from both sides.It broke my heart to read the Tara and Giles parts and how much she wants to go back to save her love. I am really enjoying this story with all of its stuggles and strife and can't wait till you post some more.
