The ending was really unexpected! I almost gave up that Buffy would give Spike another chance. Never though she would! If she didnt, i would stop reading this story because frankly im getting tired of all the bashing that Spike got from her and from everyone else in this fiction. Dont want to continue reading something that is sooo depressing.

Thank you for saving Spike in the end. It was very dramatic the way you wrote it. Incredible!

OMFG FINALLY!!!! the entire chapter i thought she was going to be a dumbass and leave him and im SOOOOO happy that shes isnt. i LOVE this story and am SOOO happy that u updated. i CANT believe that shes asking him to ask her to marry him and i hope that they can finally work it out now. also i hope that everything works out well and that they end up together and happy. Man, I think this was like one of the first Spuffy stories I started reading when I started watching episodes early last year, and it's been one of my favorites ever since I started. This chapter just reminds me why that is. This is beautifully written, and lovely. It broke and warmed my heart.

I didn't expect Xander to be supportive but he really was.
When Buffy started her speech addressing Spike I was biting my nails, hoping for this turn. :D
Loved the new chapter. Time for Buffy to take care of Spike now.

Xander clamped his mouth shut and turned his head, wishing he could just make a run for the door and end this.

But she was the Slayer. Even if he had a head start, she’d probably catch him before he could reach his car. He gathered his courage and tried again. --- Despite feeling the dispair and confusion Buffy felt, this made me giggle even more than "Short". I was amazed by how maturely Xander handled the situation even though he didn't want her with Spike. Really loved their interaction.

And then Not just thin, but small. Closed. As if something integral had been taken from him and his entire being was curling into itself, protecting the hole that was left behind. --- this made me break down and cry. And I'm still crying, only happy tears now. The beauty of this chapter was beyond belief, even for an author who has us used to incredibly beautiful chapters!

What a perfect twist at the end - I was all ready to have a hizzy fit when she produced the ring and with what she was saying and how it seemed to be going - when, holy moly, she came good at the end ....... and what an end.

A great chunk of story and a cliffhanger at the last. Hope you doing OK Unbridled B, and update soon!

This is heartbreaking all around. Everyone is feeling ineffectual and guilty, but not doing anything to fix things. I don't know what Buffy can do. She's right, she can't be Spike's conscience. She can forgive him, though. Try to be his friend and maybe re-build trust between them. Here's hoping she's willing to try.

I was on vacation and missed this emotional chapter. I'm glad your muse is cooperating again.

Can Buffy be anymore cruel and stupid? She doesnt deserve Spike! How can you stop loving someone who has only shown you blind devotion? These last two chapters really depresses me. Is there still hope for Spike? Just like in the real series Spike's devotion to Buffy really amazes and saddens me..... No one not even a mere vampire deserves to be treated like that....

Buffy heard a lot of arguments both from Angel and then Dawn. But I don't think they did get through to her, only Dawn at last with when mentioning the bracelet.
Though I'm not exactly sure what she'll do now but I hope she can forgive Spike start anew.
