Gosh! I HATE Willow and Angel! Two of my least favortie characters!! Just can't stand the way they seem to think they know what is best for Buffy. They don't. I wish Spike wouldn't back down.

This story is absolutely amazing. I had been off the fanfiction scene for a long while when I came across this story and from the first page I was glued to the computer through Chapter 44.

I'm sorry Part II was not well recieved because I absolutely loved it. It got into William's head much more than in Part I and because of this his transformation into Spike was seamless. I thought the 'family' dynamic was so good that it almost seemed as though the flashbacks in the series were based off of this rather than the other way around.

There's not enough I can say about story. Characterizations (especially of William, whose character is only shown breifly in two episodes) were flawless and all the little details of Spike's early history sprinkled throughout "Buffy" that might have been forgotten were integrated into the plot. (Like the story Spike tells Dawn about the little girl in the coalbin)

I will be checking for updates probably more often than any other story. Epecially now when things are coming together so wonderfully. I am at the edge of my seat.

Hmm I'm really waiting for that talk between Spike and Buffy which has to come. They have to face there time together and work something out.
As much as I like Angel/Buffy in some stories (hmm I know not the right place to say this) I really don't like them in this story.
William and Buffy fit so good together and you wrote a fucking good story for them.
So I'm really waiting here to see how you will continue with their story.

Angel is evil!!! Evil soulful vampire! He still has a little bit of Angelus in him after all.

What is wrong with Buffy? Why does she want to avoid Spike? I mean the root of Spike is William....i mean if they have a very long talk and get everything out in the open she would see the layers of old evil Spike are trying to go away and he is truely William at heart. He's a shy, sensitive, and caring man.

Now if Angel tells Spike that she went through a 'terrible' experience he's going to be heartbroken. And i think Spike already had his fair share of misery for an unlifetime. I want Spike to fight for her...FIght! Fight! Fight! Or Buffy needs to fight for Spikes forgiveness. Want Spike to bash Angel's head in and tell Buffy that Angel made him a monster. And also that Angel's soul is like a serial killer being in prison...prison being the soul of course.

Anyway, thanks for update. Can't wait to see what you have in store next time. Hopefully we'll learn soon....maybe?

Woah!!!! Now, reading that made me wonder.......was William trying on purpose to get Elizabeth pregnant so that she would truly be his and no one else could have her ? After all, that was a whole different era compared to the time we live in now where it makes no difference if a woman has a child with a man, there is always the possability that she will and can if she chooses, to end up with a man other than the father of the baby. I must admit, that I do so hope that they have a baby!!!!!

Another thing I've kept forgetting to mention as I've read this, is that I wonder what has happened to the ring William finally decided was THE ring for Elizabeth? Hmmmmm....does he still have it and will he give it to her later in the story?

I truly do love your portrayal of Dawn. In the show I didn't really like her much since she is always portrayed as the whiney little sis. I love how you've given her more in this....She is practically the smartest one out of The Scoobies when it comes to knowing how or what Buffy is going through.

“Maybe she wasn’t so unhappy there. Maybe someone was really nice to her. Like, really nice.” Her voice choked then, as she added very softly, “Maybe she didn’t want to come home.” Amazing!!! Just as a true sister would know how you feel without having being told, you really hit the nail with the hammer on that. It must be so hard and sad for Dawn to realize that Buffy was so happy she didn't want to come back but at the same time, I'm sure, since it was her sister she now feels sad that Buffy seems to has lost someone (unknowingly William to Dawn of course) who had made her so happy!!!!

Can't wait to see what happens when Angel comes to town!!!!!

No one else can ever have her.**** Given the contraints of the society and time period William lived in, his merely sleeping with a woman would have guaranteed him a marriage with her. If a woman's virtue was "compromised" (and this could be achieved with something as innocuous as walking her home after nightfall), then she had no choice but to marry. And the man had no choice but to ask her. Otherwise, they both lost their reputations and their standing in the community. So, William's thought process here probably had more to do with the actual sex than with any ideas of impregnating her. In his mind, he didn't have to impregnate her. She was his on the basis he had taken her virginity (he hadn't, of course; but he didn't know that). Of course, that being the case, it's still entirely possible that she inadvertantly became pregnant as a result of their tryst. But that remains to be seen. Thanks so much for the review! :-)

Hey I love this chapter and couldn't remember if I reviewed. I wanted to ask though. Is Buffy pregnant? Because that would be a great twist. Hope to see the next chapter soon.

The plot thickens with wiccans and Angel coming over. Why is it I do not think him flying in to save the day with be anything remotely close to the one thing Buffy probably right now wants and that is William comforting her. If anything him showing up will probably anger her and make her rehash the fact that her William is gone now and one of the reasons she lost him forever is standing right there in front of her. Buffy is very loyal to the core and Angel popping up when her wounds are still very much open will most likely not go over too well. I see him showing up and her seeing red looking into the eyes of her lovers companions killer. If Angel will sense or not her feelings towards Spike I have not a clue but the anticipation of the next part in this is eating away at me.
