I love this story. I like spike and dru. Of course not as much as spuffy. But I always thought spike and dru were special. Cause here you have two vampires who seem so into each other.

Author's Response: I agree with you. Although I'm die hard Spuffy, I really liked the relationship he had with Dru. Although she was broken and unfaithful, they obviously had a huge amount of affection for each other. And I loved how he took care of her and protected her. I'm glad you liked the chapter. Hee. I love Darla. Did she say this on the show or was it something you made up? Because it's definitely a Darla-esque thing to say. Overall though, I really am enjoying how you're writing her. She's one of my absolute favorite characters and you're definitely doing her justice.

This story is really taking shape and with the help of Angelus, Drusilla, and Darla, William's transformation to Spike is coming along quite well. I can't wait to read his take on the slayers,especially since little does he know in a matters of years, he'll realize the love of his life is one.

Besides loving this story, I'm also loving the fact that you respond to the reviews we post. It makes the story more real to me, reading your insight. The story itself seems difficult to write because of it's rich detail, so I just want you to know how grateful I am that you're sharing it with us, and that you're taking the time to write back when we review :)

William likes to read himself in the papers... he plays a dangerous game. Too dangerous; Angelus happened. *big sigh* And this is the start of Spike the mastervampire. In this way that he doesn't want to do what Angelus says any longer, nothing more.

Author's Response: Yeah, Angelus doesn't temper his punishments when he's angry. It's a hard thing to recover from, but Spike ultimately learns from the experience, which it good. Thanks for reviewing. :)

I'm glad too he hasn't forgotten Elizabeth, even dreamed of her. I wonder (but I'll read I guess) how the third part will be, if he'll recognize Elizabeth in Buffy when he sees her the first time. But Buffy from the past (the younger version of her) who didn't go back in the past, how can she knew him... and so on.
I know I should but I can't feel sorry for Archer. He deserved to be punished. Too bad for him it happened in this way.

And I fear that is were the Spike/Dru part will take place. Yeah... unavoidable. ~ I'm glad that William still remembers. His past life and Buffy. Yet that will it make harder for him to accept what he is now. I wonder if he still has the ring.

Oh noooo now it happened when nobody did think it would. They (Willow probably) brought her back. I wonder if William, Anne and the others will keep their memories of Buffy. And good there are more chapters. (So no saving of William now to become a vampire, huh?

Anne is very much Victorian. What she thinks is old-fashioned but not for her, for her it is the right behavior. If William only knew what Buffy was really hunting and what she wants to prevent.. It's hard for William to find a balance between the way he thinks because he was raised in Victorian times and his wish to let Buffy be herself.

Livvy acted oddly? Oh William ordered to be quiet. I wonder if that will be bad for Buffy's position in the house. ~ And he told her he loved her but Buffy wasn't able to say something similar back.. must have been a disappointment of sorts for William. He is indeed breaking several rules for her. The 'Higher Society' won't accept this behavior. Won't that make William's life there harder? Though I hope not. ~ Oh Archer.. the first to disturb the happy bubble. He had it coming even if it will things worse for William. Oh! Buffy said it back; I wonder if William did hear it.
