I'd fallen behind on this fic and now that I'm all caught up I can't wait to find out what happens next! You're doing an awesome job of showing the obssessive slope with glimmers of hope and love and it's all confusing and wonderful.

Sadly I've read that we're near the end with the story. Looking forward to how it will end but it's still sad to see the story go.
So Dawn is save now; bad (but expected) that Buffy thinks the worst first. At last she doesn't think that Spike did it himself on purpose.
And Giles suspects... (Spike's job). So he knows that Spike is the one that helps. More than the others did.
Grrr for Giles giving an ultimatum.
Good that Willow informed Spike, he was so worried.

I feel so bad for both Spike and Buffy in how they deal with one another and just how Buffy won't even hear from him what happened just rejects him fully.

This was a vivid, exciting chapter. Spike's obsession grows and now he's dragged Dawn down with him. His anger and hysteria were awful to read. It's no wonder Dawn freaked. The eggs hatching was terrifying and exciting. Spike's claimed her, taken what he wants, and even that is not enough.

This broke my heart: "Borrowed time, that’s what this was, and he couldn’t enjoy a second because of that. He kept telling himself that he could make it under the wire, that one more paycheck would make all the difference, and she’d never even have to know about any of it. But he didn’t really believe that." Now Spike really has a reason for Buffy to hate him.

If you are looking for a great story and want something out of the every day then start reading this it has the best romance and it is full of action and angst and great writing to make it work. Add this author to your favorites.

Ok as scary as the opening was I had to laugh at the thought of Spike getting a ride to the hospital from a stoner in a wagon going 80.
Spike was so lost at the hospital ans riddled with fear and then Buffy just shuts him out like shes writing him off as just a evil thing. I want Spike to run to see on Dawn and for Buffy to at least hear him out everything he does is for her and then Dawn just open your eyes a little Buffy and see it.

((((((Right. Of course you did.” He was sarcastic. “Because that’s, like, the best idea I’ve ever heard. Give the insane, soulless vampire a little slayer’s blood to get him revved up. Bet he’s a real demon in the sack after that—”))))))

Why is it Xander can always say these crude things and no one really calls him on it but Spike is just soul-less and evil? Spike was in the wrong but his intentions were good I just hope Buffy can see that and not run away from it.

I stayed up all night reading this and fell in love with it. Not at all what I expected going in and I just could not stop once I had started such a beautiful and almost tragic love story I've never really seen anything like this befroe and became a overnight fan. I wanna ask for more or stalk your beta reader for more of your stuff do you have your own fic website?

Spike has been falling apart and she knew this whole time but just kinda ignored it that Spike was sending her the money and she just accepted it?
Ok - girl you dont tell a boy where he is at with you and you don't give him any insight to where you are going or if you have a relationship but then when he messes up you shut him down completely? Perfect! writing on your version of Buffy you hit the nail on the head with this. I wil be back for more on this fic it it the best I have read.
