i really love your story and i can't wait to read more! please, will you put in a chapter where buffy kicks angelus' ass? i mean, she defeated a hell god, what's a 200 yr old vampire and here he's only 100. please update soon!!!

Author's Response: Physically, I think Buffy is perfectly capable of handling Angelus. It's only her mental blocks that are getting in her way. Whether she will overcome them or not remains to be seen. I'm glad you like the story, and thank you for reviewing it. I promise, the next update won't take as long as this one. :)

I was happy to see Buffy os working on her self to please Wiliam and make things easier for him. and I loved the hug part in the library. Seems like trouble is a head or a fall from the horse. Either way I'm hooked on this fic. Great job

Wow, this is a -really- good story, and a well-written one as well. You have a strong grip on Buffy's voice, and I love the growing relationship between her and William. I never thought I would like a Buffy/William story, but this one can't get me to stop reading :)

I can't wait until she meets with Spike again and also to see how she feels about him then.

Author's Response: This story started out as a challenge to myself, to see if I could write a story that focused on Buffy's POV. I used to have a really hard time finding her voice. Once I got started, though, she just came alive. I'm glad you feel I'm being true to the character. Thank you. :)

no!!!! I hate hate hate when I get to the end of these chapters cos I love this story so much! I'm really not looking forward to the event referred to in the last sentence....but I still want the next chapter really soon!! Its so nice that she's made an effort to keep Anne off Wililam's back. I love this story so much. I just read all 22 chaps at one sitting and would not of hesitated to stay up all night to finish it had there been more. There are not enough stories about William to suit me and this one is so well written. Can't wait to see if Buffy is able to get William past all that Victorian sexual repression. So exhausting isn't it? How will Buffy finally make it home and how will she and Spike react to each other when she does? How long before she kicks Angelus' undead ass up and down mainstreet? I'm on tenterhooks. Great work!

I went looking for romantic stories for Valentines day Spike/Buffy thoughts and this story is the best romantic story I have read on this ship in a long time. It is so well written you feel your there in the setting and about to pour some tea. I say look no further then here for a love story this has it all. Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might sound like hyperbole, but seeing a new chap. made me happier then finding out the new Harry Potter is coming out July 21. Oh, but I am afraid that there might be a day Anne insists that Buffy gets thrown out of the house (which kind of reminds me what happens at the end of season 2) What if Buffy does something that she usually does, like saves someone, or just goes out again to fight vampires, but where before she gets labeled a freak, she gets labeled something else in Victorian times. But thanks for the new chap! I can't wait for more!

He was so worried and to now find she was attacked and how relieved he was to find she was not harmed. I think with them both living through this shake-up he will see how connected on a soulful level they really are. This is my favorite romantic story on the board.
