Oh nooooo! Buffy fixing things can't be good!! I am still loving this fic!!!!! Although, I gotta tell you ... I am on pins and needles waiting for Angelus to pop up again. You just know he is out there waiting...and Buffy not in shape to take him on! It gives me the wiggins knowing he could show up anytime. I feel like I need to hide my eyes but then I couldn't read the story!!

I thought it was so very sweet Buffy tried to hide when she liked things so William would not see and spend too much money on her it's endearing how they try to take care of each other in their own way. I liked how Anne could see William was happy and stepped back a little.
I'm thinking on this Buffy botching thing and look forward to your next update.

It was amusing to see William battle back and for in his head about Elizabeth being late for breakfast all the little thoughts in his head between wanting and not wanting her. And then his Mom questioning him about him speaking to Elizabeth and his thoughts of how he should have done it and didn't made me laugh. I think it's good though Buffy overheard then discussing her for that would be easier for Buffy to deal with then William personally talking to her and her going on the defense. I think you did it perfectly that Buffy would hear William defending her but also the voice of reason with Anne to see she had to improve her manners and such and the her own behavior caused in many ways her benefactors problems.
I thought it cute the way you wrote Buffy trying to console William when she knew he was hiding something and William starting a new conversation to avoid broaching the subject of his sleepless nights.
There is sort of a flip going on now in the story with William more and more reaching out to her and Elizabeth conforming to the society and being a little shocked by his touches and I found that a cool thing. I really thought his hugging her around the stomach was the most intimate of loving jesters we have seen out of him. I think it played in well too this embrace and him wanting to express to her how desperately he did not want her going out alone or putting herself at risk.
I find it so interesting that out of all the guys in her past she wants William to protect her even knowing he is human she loves him enough to let him and that's a real first for her I think when she realizes this.
Then him getting mad at her for the little changes she is trying to make in her speaking for him. Although I'm not sure him trying to reward her for good behavior is a good thing but I think Buffy will work that out with him. The amusement over the horse was funny and Buffy trying to get out of it made me laugh and smile her comment about driving or steering that thing reading it in Buffy like fashion but she gave in cause he wanted her to. I think in his way own cleaver way it's the closest ways he cam come to dating her in these little adventures out. I'm curious as to what happens with this pony and Buffy letting William down. Whiter it be her sneaking off or her not having faith in him protecting her. Either way will have bad effects on Williams self esteem or worse bring out his temper. But then that too might be juicy or lead to him being turned. It seems Buffy in the next chapter will fail to prove her love to William and I'm just dying to see what happens I feel like it's the old days and I'm waiting for Tuesday to come only today is Tuesday lol!

I thought it was really cute the part with Buffy being all positive -buffy in kicking manners butt and wanting to *dazzle them* and be better for William and him just trying not to smile. Super great Spike-Buffy story.

I get the feeling Elizabeth was right in thinking she could not drive a horse even a pony. I smell a fall coming or something and this hint of William being hurt by her is intriguing. I really like how you show them developing a relationship over time and how they go off together and talk or just spend time together. Cause I think even in turning William will remember her and cherish those memories even when he finds ut who she is in the future. Now that will be a great thing when they come face to face and have to face lol their future past. Just loving this story its the best one on the site here.

Ah I loved how you show he leads with his body language for her to follow him where he can't say what he means but leaves her hints. And I did a girlie sigh when he said he wanted to take her to a place she could just be herself and hugged her about the waist. Beautiful just beautiful.
