Oh my god. This was an amazing chapter. Their moment together on the bench -- THE KISSING OF THE NECK!!!! -- and the poem at the end.... So well written. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Incredible chapter, so so great.

Question- Buffy was usually on the "a vampire is totally not the same as they were human, for it's the demon taking host in the human's body," so why would she keep comparing William to Spike, wondering why they're so different? Although, William is still present in Spike, but Buffy is blind to that of course. Still reading, though.

Author's Response: Obviously, you misunderstood and are a little confused.... In those first few chapters when Buffy is still suspicious of William, it is because of the lies *Spike* told her about his human self. She does not think William and Spike are the same person; that is why she continues to be surprised in the later chapters when William shows similarities to the vampire.

OH THAT SOB I WISH HE WOULD JUST DIE, ALONG WITH DRU AND DARLA!!!!!!!!!! oh its so cute that william could feel that something was wring and that hes rushing back to buffy, i really hope that they make up. i love this story and am so happy u updated. i cant believe that angelus found her, now hes going to come after her and that might lead to her or william getting hurt. i really hope that when william comes home, he and buffy make up and that everythings ok gbetween them. also i hope that angelus doesnt find buffy, william or anne and that they all stay safe and well. please update as soon as u can, im DYING to reaad wat happens next. thanx

I very much enjoyed reading your story - I like how you connected the series theme of Buffy wanting a more normal life and set it in this time travel - Like your William very much as well - such a good contrast with Spike in the future. A contrast that makes logic with William's time and Spike's future persona - such repressions and then such rebellion - and yet both faces still have all the heart that is William/Spike.

I sure hope that you bring us an update very soon -

Even Dru notices Elizabeth does not belong and wants to get away from her I thought that was so cool.

She seems to be trying to focus all of her energy on finding Dru and putting a stop to the turning of Spike but is she really does this has she thought of the fact that she might not be with him and he will be alone without her? Really a cool story and more like a saga I love following this and watching for new chapters.

Elizabeth is kinda out of slay shape and the clothes are not helping her either so running into the worst of all vampires had to have scared her to death for a lot of reasons. I am not sure how she can train given where she is living now but with William leaving she has not been eating so any weight she had gained is probably gone now. But I loved the verbal combat Buffy gave to Angel I think it's good for her to recognize who she is given that has been confused for her being in another time and all she has lost sight of being the slayer. Just dying for more and what you do next with this.

Author's Response: Another of Buffy's problems is that she allowed Angelus and the gang psych her out. She's afraid of them, and wants to avoid them, so I'm not sure she would train to fight them even if she could. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. :)

Oh my goodness Buffy runs right into the worst kinda trouble. Given the times if something like this would happen to a girl I'm pretty sure Anne will not let Buffy out of bed and will send for a doctor to sedate her or I dunno smelling salts or something. Quick someone grab a fainting couch for Buffy or foe me while I read this its too good. Bravo on doing such a good and exciting fic!

Humm I wonder if the servents buy the (out for a walk) story or if they will come to the opinion that Elizabeth is in love with the master of the house and that is why she is so upset. Poor Elizabeth she so needs a friend and there really isn't anyone she can talk to. I wonder if now coming face to face with Angel/Dru/Darla if she will try to find the council for some help. LOl I have so many burning questions I can hardly wait till you write more. :D

wow. there really isn't all that much i can say here. i'm just so surprised. i get that she's out of shape from a while of no slayage, but i just wanted to see her kick angelus' ass. (i never liked him!)

Author's Response: lol. Then we're different, MadBrillianT. While I never was a fan of Angel (he bored me), I like Angelus, especially in the flashback episodes. I had such fun writing him for this scene; he is just so evil there was no need for restraint. I really think it's good Anne and Buffy had this talk and Anne could see how much Buffy did not want her to alert William of her being jumped it really speaks in volume of Buffy's feeling she is trying to hide for him. Now if I can just wait for him to get home to see her without doing a **squee** till the next update!!!!

There is something more to their connection then just meeting in another time I think. The fact that William can sense her in trouble and runs to get to her as fast as he can but does not know why and her Slayer dreams of him really says to me that they have some undeniable epic like romance that even time and space can't deny. I mean the fact that even going back in time the person who finds her is Spike, well William really but even as William he instantly feels something for her and goes out of his way to make her feel more at home in his household and treats her more like a guest then a employee says to me he must on some level know she is meant for more in his life then any other girl they could have hired.
I think Ann seeing how distraught over William's leaving is a good thing, not that getting attacked by Angelus is ever a good thing but from Elizabeth's answers Ann can now see her feeling for her son and might say something to William that can help these two back on speaking terms. I wonder if with the servant's seeing her attacked and the gossip they spread with other staff members if this can save or worsen Elizabeth's reputation. But I think William will be extremely angry when he hears of her being attacked and goes looking for trouble.
So many new questions I look forward to seeing answers to. I love this story and how you tell it and look forward to seeing what you have planned for them.

To me it is just a matter of him being very perceptive and in tune to Buffy's feelings. I'm glad you feel the same way. As always, thank you for your wonderful review! :)
