I'm enjoying this story sooo so much!! Very anxious to see what changes in the different timelines will mean! This chapter made me want to clunk Buffy on the head with something big and heavy!! LOL! But then, she always manages to make me feel that way at some point! More soon, I hope!

This story is very nice. it took time to build up between Buffy and William since he is so repressed, but I have good hopes for him!!! Now, I wonder when Drusilla and Co will come in the mix....

Author's Response: One thing I wanted to do was stay realistic to the characters and the time period, which was why I made sure they didn't just fall in love at first sight and walk into the sunset together. lol. Wow I don't think Elizabeth even really knows all he has given up for her if society is completely turning their backs on him and his business. I really hope someone of higher society takes to her and can fix this problem before Anne discovers how bad things are the shock might kill her. And Elizabeth did make a mistake here cause even though William ran off I wonder if he starts to think about it and what she did if his view of her will change. They both really know so little of each others past they need to talk. Love this fic its got a hold on me.

It's cute to see Buffy getting frustrated in her feelings for William and having to maintain this Elizabeth proper persona and how she try's to move in for a little more intimacy between then and William is the one pulling back where as if they were in her time it be so opposite if it were her and Spike in the same scenario. I just think though she went to far an now they both won't know what to do. Again you have me eating out of the palm of your writers hand on this and I wanting to know what happens next.

Author's Response: In present day, the most common way for people to express love is by sex, so poor Buffy is a little confused by William's reluctance to do so. She fails to take into account the beliefs of Victorian times. To William love and respect are shown in the restraint of his baser urges, not the indulgence in them. You are entirely right in saying things have gone too far. If Buffy had been paying attention to what William was trying to tell her, she would have realized this. ;) I'm glad you like the story. They have a way of reading each other from either across a room and even in a way time can't deny in how them seem to have a destiny for one another. I think he probably is shocked and that is why he left most likely shocked that a woman would even choose to be close to him or of his own reactions to it but I do hope he at least said something to someone for her. Poor Elizabeth!
