wow. there really isn't all that much i can say here. i'm just so surprised. i get that she's out of shape from a while of no slayage, but i just wanted to see her kick angelus' ass. (i never liked him!)

Author's Response: lol. Then we're different, MadBrillianT. While I never was a fan of Angel (he bored me), I like Angelus, especially in the flashback episodes. I had such fun writing him for this scene; he is just so evil there was no need for restraint. Be warned, he will eventually reappear...and be just as brutal as before. ;) Thanks as always for reading and reviewing. :)

There is something more to their connection then just meeting in another time I think. The fact that William can sense her in trouble and runs to get to her as fast as he can but does not know why and her Slayer dreams of him really says to me that they have some undeniable epic like romance that even time and space can't deny. I mean the fact that even going back in time the person who finds her is Spike, well William really but even as William he instantly feels something for her and goes out of his way to make her feel more at home in his household and treats her more like a guest then a employee says to me he must on some level know she is meant for more in his life then any other girl they could have hired.
I think Ann seeing how distraught over William's leaving is a good thing, not that getting attacked by Angelus is ever a good thing but from Elizabeth's answers Ann can now see her feeling for her son and might say something to William that can help these two back on speaking terms. I wonder if with the servant's seeing her attacked and the gossip they spread with other staff members if this can save or worsen Elizabeth's reputation. But I think William will be extremely angry when he hears of her being attacked and goes looking for trouble.
So many new questions I look forward to seeing answers to. I love this story and how you tell it and look forward to seeing what you have planned for them.

To me it is just a matter of him being very perceptive and in tune to Buffy's feelings. I'm glad you feel the same way. As always, thank you for your wonderful review! :)

This was so good because you get to see both of their feeling and how they get along without the other around I think this time apart will be a good thing in the long run for them both. If Buffy does alter time in the past I say go for it because if she helps him unleash some of his passion as William it may change the Spike in the future and all I can say is hot damn to when Buffy and Spike hook back up in the future for it will be explosive.

Poor William he feels he has disgraced Elizabeth or made her think she had to do that in order to please him. And poor Elizabeth as well feels like she has molested him and they are both off alone in pain. Anne cant seem to figure out what is wrong other then they must have had a row or that Elizabeth has upset William in some way. I had a lot of questions while reading this like What is Will feeling guilty over? What were the rumors Matthew was talking about going on before Elizabeth got there? Argh! It's soooooooooooooooooooo Tune In Tomorrow for the next episode of Forward to the Past.....

In a lot of ways they really do not know a whole lot about each other they just kinda fell in love fist and didn't get all the background details. Maybe now that they have had this hurdle he can tell her what he is hiding and Buffy can tell him she's not from this time.

Started this this morning over breakfast and a hour and a half later I'm blown away this is too cool of a read and it is different then most stories I come across and in the telling of pre-Spike and his life. by the last page posted here my heart was crying out for both of them. I recommend this story to anyone looking for a true romantic adventure.
