They have a way of reading each other from either across a room and even in a way time can't deny in how them seem to have a destiny for one another. I think he probably is shocked and that is why he left most likely shocked that a woman would even choose to be close to him or of his own reactions to it but I do hope he at least said something to someone for her. Poor Elizabeth!

I got my kiss... or I guess they did, but it was indeed divine. So simple, and yet completely powerful. And I beleive she would follow him anywhere. Amazing, can't wait for more.

It just makes the heart ache in how much Will/Spike needs Elizabeth/Buffy in his life. For I do not think anyone has ever been a close friend to him or really loved him outside of his family and he just absorbs her tender times with him like a man in a desert. Such a powerful story.

Oh wow I feel like I'm in a gothic nove and should have a accent to review this but I'll try to anyway. This is so very pretty it warms the old Spuffy heart to read something as nice as this. This is a right rate story and you should look no futher in wanting a good story to read cause this one has it all.

It is weird how he is always warm or sneaking off at odd moments makes me wonder if he has a heroin addiction or some other victorian like times addiction to something or sickness that even Buffy could not know about cause he is always hiding away in almost every page he is not a vampire yet and yeah he reads and works a lor but still something is off or maybe it might be just me. Maybe William has a dark side.
I do love that they did have this little time together for it probably won't hapen again given how they have to live it was nice to see their caring of one another

You can see he wants to hear Elizabeth say she loves him too. Buffy don't make him wait too many weeks I don't know if my heart can take it much less his!!!
I cant think of a better story I have ever read to compare to this but if Joss was a smart man he'd hire you as a writer for the Spike comics.

I like the way your tell the story of Williams life in this and I think it is good in this chapter you gave him a moment of true happiness and telling a woman he is in love with that he does love her. For at least when he is turned soon he will have at least have been loved by a real woman. I always thought it kind of sad on the tv series that William never really was loved by a girl in his life and was only mocked for his caring or that it made him less of a man. Where in this version you see that William is the better man for his caring and all of his manners and rules and that a real girl would love him and in many ways he has the same passions that Spike does when he gets so filled with emotion and lets you see a bit more of him.

As in all of your chaters I love your work and wish you to write more of this great story and I cannot wair to see when Dru comes in or how you have him rurned or if this is even the same world and time Buffy was in or another dememsion William or how it will all turn about. I might even make popcorn.



Author's Response: I always felt the same way, Kalahara. Poor William had his heart trampled by Cecily and then was immediately killed and turned by Drusilla. Not a very nice end to a good man at all. I am trying to make that up to him in some small way now, although I can't promise there won't be some angst in his future.
