I was reading this and the dance part where they crash into each other made me think of my favorite Spike/Buffy fan video with Dave Matthews Band song Crash Into Me and I had to go watch it lol
I LoVe this story and your writing it gives you goose bumps reading it cause all of the people you can relate to and the way you write the emotions is perfect. My friend and I are both reading this and she emailed me with a stat a new chappie was posted so I had to run to my puter to see and it was so worth it.

Oh horrors of embarrassing horrors for William having this happen in front of Elizabeth! This was probably the main reason he was dragging his feet on even going to this thing. For to be so exposed in front of the one person whose opinion you might care most about and worse yet in from of a member of your household staff. Not that I think he thinks of her that way but just the mortification I feel so badly for him right now and having to at some point face Elizabeth again. Once more I'm addicted to this story and if it were a book I could not put it down I cant believe you have only written one story on this site for your talent for writing on Whedon-verse is just so good.

Yippee - a new chapter. I love this story to bits. Does that mean that William has already been rebuffed by Cecily and hasn't been turned by Drusilla? Please please please update soon. I just can't wait for more.

It's cute to see Buffy trick William into wanting to go with her and Buffy's dislike of Cecily and her knowing of Williams crush on her but the woman but knowing his feeling for her were more. And then thet both were checking each other out. I really hope we see more of the actual ball and get a dance scene. I really dig the old timey geel of this story it makes me think not all romance is dead.
