Anya rocks and isn't ashamed of her past funny how easy Giles and Xander over look that simply because shes a woman and kinda goofy.
Buffy was great in standing up for herself and her choices of sticking with Spike.

Author's Response: That's an excellent point and one I hadn't considered before. That Anya is given a free ride because she is a woman. BtVS was all about female empowerment, which was good, but sometimes they took it too far. Instead of women being portrayed as the intelligent, strong, and worthy individuals we are, oftentimes they were petty, materialistic, bitchy, and abusive ... Buffy's disgusting treatment of Spike was considered okay because she was a woman in pain. Yet Spike's assault on Buffy was unforgivably evil because he's a man; the writers glossed over one and never let the viewers forget the other. Drove me insane. But, uh, anyway, I'm going off on a tangent so I'll just wrap it up by thanking you for the review. :D

Oh, poor Spike...I have a tingling sensation that his wonderful, thoughtful plans for Buffy and Dawn's wellbeing is about to blow up in his pretty little face. I hope Buffy won't be too pissed about it! Loved the update, can't wait for more.

I like this: If he could have, he would have nestled into the soft bed of her temporal lobe or been held by the pulsing muscles of her right atrium. He would have become so deeply embedded that she couldn’t ignore him or run away.

I'm not surprised with: he might not be doing the right thing.

I would like more sex scenes...it seems you stop when the physical stuff is about to happen.

What is he doing. I'm dieing to know what Spike has decided is the better plan. Don't quite know how much forgiveness Buffy could have in her, especially when all of her friends turn the other way. Great chapter, please, update soon.

Wonder where Spike is taking this guy to and what "You know what to do means" if Spike has to lead him to something he must not know where whatever he is looking for is. I am looking forward to seeing what this job is and how it will effect S/B.
The past few pages have had so much detail and goodness it is hard to come to the end of the page.

Hottest thing ever written

I may go blind from reading this on my laptop at work but it be worth it just to see the latest in FtTp Buffy seems to reconise Spike is evil she is not making excuses she is just accepting him for who he was and is in her life.
Now how they will all handle it is a whole other story lol this was great in how it was written

I liked the reference to Wiliams innocence and Buffy sort of admiting she knew it at the time and how Spike has no real control over what he feels towards her. I especially like Buffy being level headed enough to bring up the way they accept Anya but not Spike. Sort of a scale of justice in how they measure evil and past wrongs into who is and who isnt accepted into their little group. Giles is really angry but I hope he takes time to condier or at least all of them do. Let us just hope Willow doesn't pull another spell gone wrong whammy.

I loved that you made Buffy call Giles on a few things like the fact he himself has lied to her about what he does tell her about vampires always on the show I wanted this kinda thing to take place with the slayer and watcher and it never really happened to the degree this did. Great update and intense chapter.
