I can not tell you how much I've missed this story. I've read tons of spuffy fic, some really wonderful--some not. But this....this was by far the best fic I've ever read. Thank you so much for writing it!!!

Oh, U.B.! You've finished it - and what a masterpiece it is. Every last piece of emotion has been wrought through all the chapters and your story is filled with the lives of Buffy and Spike. The good, the bad, the ugly ....... and the absolute rightness of their being. Together. Start, middle, end. I cannot begin to sum up here what all those zillion chapters took us through, but each and every one was relevant and heartrending one way or another and in the end, despite the supernatural, and the time travel and against all odds, it comes down to two lovers lying on the couch watching TV, in their home. Just like any other couple. Unique in every way, but just like every other couple.

Beautiful story. I loved it!

I just reread the last chapter but all in all I wasn't eager to read the last chapter in a way: When I have read this one it means it really has ended. :(
It's good to see Buffy and Spike together now (or together again?). Loved that when Spike didn't want to go to Dawn's party, Dawn brought 'her party' back home to Spike.
It really sounds as if Buffy and Spike are okay now, especially after Buffy's last talk to Spike.
Sad to see the story end now. But I enjoyed the read (even if the S/D parts weren't my favorite ones but only because of the 'Ship).

Thank you for giving us such an amazing love story which explored so elegantly whether Buffy and Spike could love each other in a way that was true to them both. A lovely story which I will read again one day.

This story is probably the best.

It has a good idea, gorgeuos writing, perfect characterization.

For years I dreaded the day it would have come to an end, because without it a lot of what there is to look for would have ended.

This Fic is a mastercraft work, you gave us something that can't be bought and if this world realize that your skills are to be tresured it will be a better place !

This has been one of my all time favorite I loved it great job I must ,but for me Spike is still sort in pain and so unsure of what he and Buffy have it's like he is unhappy. I did enjoy not having the Sgang in the ending I could care less what they want . I really like Spike & Dawn ending but with a hug I like the family setting sit down and watching movies together it was sweet. Congrats loved it all the way.

Author's Response: To tell you the truth, I think that Spike *is* still a little uncertain at this point. It's really only natural that he would be, given how short a period of time has passed. But his conversation with Buffy at the end went a long way in offering reassurance. After all, it was the first time she had ever indicated that she would rather be in the present with Spike than in the past with his human self. I know there was a melancholy tone to the epilogue, but I *do* consider it a happy ending, just not a perfect sunshine-and-rainbows one. I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless.
