wow! did not see darla getting thrown in the mix. why should spike be mad at dru for cheating because he was prepared to with buffy. he can dish it out but cant take it, just like most men, too bad for him. he got what he deserved. i do hope he gets his act together and tries to make it up to buffy. cant wait for more

okay i have to say that this is one of the best fics i've read in a long time....just to let you know. i love it the angst just gets me so excited to read what you have in store next. anyway i read you author's note and i looked in your reviews to see what this oo person said...and i know i would personally beat the crap out of them if i saw them!!! No one has a right to bash another's work. You put it up here for those who actually appreciate it, not people that can't tell a good story from a fucking tabloid article!!! Joss was all about the angst in the show and if anything i think you are making this story more believable by having Buffy coupled up with someone else, and having Spike royally screw his ass into the ground before finally getting Buffy. i say continue writing and give it all the twists and turns you like! it's your bloody fic so make it your own and down let anybody tell you different!!!

I know this is a spuffy story, but please be kind to Riley (never thought I'd say that cause I'm not a Riley fan) he has been very good to Buffy so far in this story. love this story, and can't wait to see what happens next :)

I like this story so much...even while not liking Spike at in so far. I am assuming at some point Spike will redeem himself! Good job, though, of creating an interesting situation. Will be watching for updates.

Um, me? I did. Ok well, I didn't think as far ahead as love (though I'm glad they did) but from the start I saw something between them. Even though Spike was evil and all, I just had this feeling about them. Turns out I wasn't talking crazy after all. Nyah nyah, to all those Buffy/Angel twoo love forevah naysayers. LOL.

I'm liking this because you're not making Spike out to be a saint. I get so tired of those Fantasy AU fics because I'm like why don't they just call him William then? That way I can avoid reading them - I am a Spuffy shipper, not Wuffy. As for Buffy I'm glad that you've given her some spine because that to me is an essential aspect of her characterization - that, and her sometimes bitchiness (hehe) is what makes Buffy, Buffy. But the way she so easily and quickly keeps up her resolve without waver I don't know though. Spike was kind of like an addiction to her, quitting cold turkey like that doesn't seem realistic for a young girl in love. I was an icy teenager, so maybe she's like me then. LOL. Accept I don't think so, your Buffy strikes me as a soft hearted sort.

Nice update. Served Spike right to see her being happy. Loved the character development. But I gotta ask, how in the HELL could he have conceivably thought he was making her HAPPY? Whoa...ego check.. Can't wait for the next chap. Please don't let yourself get discouraged. You know, if more people practiced, "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all", the world would be a much happier place..
