I'm so glad that Buffy is staying strong. Even if she lied to Riley. Sometimes a white lie is better, I know that's not right, really, but it's the truth and I hope that it doesn't come back to bite Buffy in the ass.

Oh, I talked to a girl who rode with David B in a plane back to LA recently. He's supposed to be really gorgeous in person. My older sister followed him around on Santa Monica Promenade a couple of years ago (with her husband no less). I told her she was going to be labeled a stalker but she didn't care......she says DB is darling.

Is it weird that I'm glad Spike at least wants *someone* to stand up for Buffy, if not himself? Well, I dunno, but still. I'm glad he's at least trying to break them up, it shows some improvement on his part. Good chapter! =)

Thanks for another great update! Grrr arrgh to Spike for being such a tosser - to talk about Buffy like that to Riley shows his complete lack of respect for her as a person. According to the last chapter he's more concerned about having 'more money than God', being popular and having a girlfriend who'll service him sexually (I wonder if there's any actual affection between them however?) I'm going to keep reading though to see if you can actually make him change enough (AND in a realistic enough way) to be worthy of me hoping for him and Buffy to get together. Riley's actually really nice in this story however so if you could do it without hurting him unnecessarily that'd be good too. Hugs for keeping me interested.

Some of you women must really have problems to make Spike a jerk all the time. You make Buffy way too good for him. That Buffy should never end up with spike in this story.

Two chapters? Yaay!! Thanks for the big update. Buffy's still sticking to her guns which is good but I have to admit - the insight over these two chapters into the workings of Spike's mind does not give me much desire to see a Spuffy ending to this story *looks nervously around her in case she gets struck by lightening for saying something normally considered sacriligeous to true Spuffy-shippers* Spike seems to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever, is completely egocentric, and not above the deliberate and malicious sabotage of another's happiness in order to satisfy his own base desires. Why would an apparently smart girl like Buffy believe for even one moment that what he inspires in her are feelings of love? Oh and that lie to Riley is going to come back and bite her on the ass later I just know it. More soon please.

So Buffy is going to give Spike a taste of his own medince, I love it hope it doesn't back fire on her.
