Oh you don't know how much I love you right now.. You have no idea how HAPPY you've made me feel with this chapter. I had the biggest grin on my face the whole time I was reading it. It's just FANTASTIC! It's like everything I said in my review yesterday, about my hopes/wishes actualy just came true!! OMG! This is just VERY good. I might;ve loved this fic yesterday, but now, I'm addicted, and absolutely in love with it.

Gotta say - I hadn't read this sooner because the title gave me an idea of the storyline and I didn't feel in the mood for a 'Buffy as victim' fic. I did however decide to read the reviews today to get an idea of people's reactions and that led me to read the whole story thus far. Sooo pleased I did! Have to agree that Spike is a complete jerk...empty and soulless, without empathy, consideration or respect for others. Buffy's been a walkover too until this chapter so I'm pleased she's starting to remember her own value. Looking forward to your next update. PS - Did Joyce just have a sucky divorce lawyer or are her former matrimonial properties just not sorted yet? Not that money will change the intrinsic value (or lack thereof) of any of our key players but I just have to wonder.

Yay Buffy! So glad she finally stood up to him. He totally needs to not get everything he wants. The audacity! Especially since he was the one who wanted a relationship with Dru. I think the pacing of this story is great and I'm glad you will be taking your time with the Spuffy because he definitely needs to grow up first.
