I must have read the start to this on Live Journal, and am delighted to see it continued here. Your Spikebot is great - funny and self aware and markedly different from the real Spike. His interaction with Buffy had me giggling, especially his interpretation that he's an improvement over the real Spike.

Your Buffy is also excellent. Her depression and self imposed isolation is understandable and beautifully written. The Magic Box was vividly detailed in this chapter, and I laughed at "Someone had carefully arranged the mummy’s hand so that it was currently giving the patent Spike two-finger salute to anyone who cared to look, Buffy noticed. Despite herself she smiled. She really needed to have a word with Dawn." Hee!

This chapter was full of excellent dialogue. The action sequence with the eight vampires was nicely choreographed, as was Buffy's confrontation with the real Spike. The mistaken identity made the scene laugh out loud funny, especially Spike's perfectly in voice. “Are you completely out of your tree? Who the fuck are you trying to call?” The necklace and the discovery of the money were charming.

Thhis is all very entertaining, and I can't wait until Spike discovers the Spikebot! Great job as usual.

Awww!!! I freaking love our Spike. :) He's awesome. And they can't replicate him with the bot, no way. :) Great chapter, totally made me go "aww" in real life. :) Can't wait for more from this! (So sweet!!!)

Hah! I love this, it was always my favourite twist on the events of season five. Next to Spike saving the day, of course. You've read "My Kingdom For A Spikebot" right? If not you must. Hilarious.

I need to get myself one of these bots dammit.

A great start. I have this feeling that Warren disobeyed the not-anatomically-correct instruction but I could be completely wrong. Can't wait to see Spike's reaction to this one.
