wow another update already!! your muse is very active !well I LOVED it, as always, it was nice to see a new side of Spike's personality (with Fred's kids) and the tampon scene was so embarrassing, I really thought Spike would be cruel enough to make fun of her and would refuse to help her :) I can't wait for more, I really love this new story, it's very refreshing and original!

I love entertaining people through the written word, so if they really like it makes me want to give more, hee hee. Spike really is a good man underneath it all - he's just been wronged and it's spilled into other areas of his life unfortunetely. I couldn't see him getting mean over the tampon scene, I mean as cruel as he can be, he knows from having been married it's not something to be poked fun at. Fun chapter, I absolutely loved it! Spike and Buffy's interactions sure are entertaining! I also like how Gunn's character is fleshing out, and the scene between Spike and the twins was so sweet. Great update! :D

What a wonderful finish to my weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed this new chaptert. Spike was so sweet to take her 'off base' to the shop for the tampons. Methinks that Buff'y's growing feelings for Spike will mean that she works and trains as hard as she can and will 'pass out' with flying colors. that was too funny. i had a girlfriend that was too embarrassed to buy tampons in front of her boyfriend, she had me buy them for her, i had to have my boyfriend drive me as i did not have my drivers license at the time. she got mad at me when i took them out of the bag and tossed them to her while she was standing next to her boyfriend. like he did not know what happens every month, yeah right. lmao. now she yells at him and tells him he better not forget her tampons after 30 years of marriage still lmao. i know and hope in spuffyland that they will end up on the same post or base after basic training and hope that lindsay does not get hold of buffy of if he does she is saved in time. cant wait for your next post. keep up the good work, also looking forward to posts for TE and LFL

Author's Response: Nope, Spike is not a fan of skin and bones - he needs him a handful of something to grab - it's healthier. Oh god, I couldn't help writing that whole 'slap myself silly back to my senses part'. I could see him doing that given his situation. Yeah, Lindsey is a real creep, but it brings out the protective/possessive Spike - which is a good thing.
