I specially like how you showed that no matter how much Buffy "hates" Spike, she still feels bad about what she said (Which made me wanna smack her) . and I loved how you show that even though Spike is upset about what Buffy said, he still can't really 'blame' her couse he thinks she doesnt know about the details. He's like teddy bear wearing a suit of armor!!!

Great update I_B_E. Yup. So Gunn and Oz are going to try their hands at matchmaking? Heh. Could they BE any cuter? I think not. And I'm not mad with Buffy at all. Yes her comment was nasty - moreso than practically anything else she's said so far but honestly...Spike pushed the situation beyond what most women would normally put up with. Though I'd probably make an exception for a guy who looks as good as Spike *snickers for a few moments and gives the author a 'knowing' look then puts her serious face back on* Buffy was also putting things together based on the information she had. And with 2 failed marriages on the record and her firsthand knowledge of how he'd treated her I can't fault her for jumping to the conclusion that she did. Still, here's hoping they can get over that last encounter with their pride intact (such proud creatures the both of em) and make up before the end of the week. THEN we might be able to get a little Spuffy-lovin action going again yes? LOL I'm such a smut hound *snickers again and doesn't put her serious face back on at all* More soon please!

Ok, at this point, Spike deserves to get a beat down for the way he acted at the lingerie shop. Poor Buffy. If I was her I wouldn't have felt remotely guilty for throwing his failed marriages in his face. Dish it, take it. Boo hoo, his ex-wives did him wrong. Way of the world. Wow, what a nice surprise! Let's hear it for early updates! *booty dance* I loved so many things about this chapter, it's hard to just hit the highights. The whole thing was one big honking highlight.

I'm so glad Buffy was FINALLY able to get Spike to grok that his actions were *not* helping his case. It's a shame that she had to say something so hurtful, but hello? Like anything else would penatrate? Plus, I think it was a bit of a wake up call for her to realize that, despite the ego and aggression, Spike really is capable of deep feelings.

Loved the Gunn, Oz and Spike apartment scene. You wrote it in a way that the warm camradere of these "brothers in arms" really came through. Felt like I was right there.

It is beyond cute that Spike is *still* wearing Buffy's dog tags, while refusing to admit that he wants anything other than sex from her. That is Xander-quality denial there. *shakes head* And I nearly spit a very nice merlot all over my computer screen over the hair conversation between Spike and Gunn. Buckwheat???? I died, absolutely *died* laughing.
