What a great way to start the week-end! I loved this chapter.
So cute that Spike's wearing Buffy's dog tags. He's like a love-sick teenager, really. And now that his ego's back to a normal size, maybe our two heroes will get a chance to get to know each other a little better... Or a lot better...

sooo... about this one. spike pushed, pushed and kept pushing. sure, buffy shouldn't have accused him like that, but i had seen it coming. if you add spike's... pushiness and buffy's inner struggle (cuz she knows she wants him... lol), only disaster can come out of that.

but thanks to oz and gunn they're gonna spend some... 'quality' time together now! :P

Heee, this chapter was so much fun to read. I loved to see them acting like a couple at the store, even if they scared the poor cashier girl. *giggles*I actually felt bad for both of them over Buffy's careless comment, it wasn't as if she was deliberatedly mean, it was just an outburst. Doesn't mean I didn't felt bad for Spike, because going through that...twice, is no walk in the park. I love that you keep showing us how they're feeling about the other, the pacing, the UST, it's all perfect. And now I can't wait to read what will happen during this field trip. *winks* More, please? *smooches*

Great chappie! Love the "love/hate" relationship they ,are both trying so hard to ignore (well, Spike just want's to get laid). I'm really enjoying the parry between the two, especially Spike trying all the different things he can think of (although his idea of kindness is a bit twisted - he tries it once and then changes tactics? oh well, may his constant switching around will keep buffy on edge or at least keep her thinking of him). Can't wait for more.

Bwah! Just like on the show he's lucky he's so pretty and has this kind of sex appeal that not even Buffy could entirely resist because his wooing skills are absolutely abysmal hehe. I almost feel sorry for him. Like I want to give him tips and shit. Aww, but I think I'm going to miss him acting like an arrogant prick when he inevitably gets redeemed. Is it too much to ask that you don't strip him of all his edge when he finally nabs Buffy for good?

"Sure, even he had to admit it was a rude thing to say, but if she could dish it out she’d better be able to take it as well." I like this line because it's true. Keep the insults coming. You have a great knack for writing the snarky banter between them.

Spike getting all worked up and stewing with rage watching Buffy dance with another guy was kind of hot. Oh yeah, he's about ready to 'splode.

Um, re: the weight thing again. I'm about the same height as Buffy, and at 105 I don't think I'm unhealthy looking. Trust me I got an ass (too much actually *snerk*). My mom who's shorter and around 30 pounds heavier has no junk in her trunk whatsoever. Just saying. :/

Author's Response: Giggles, he's bloody awful in the wooing dept isn't he? Oh no, I won't strip him of his edge - hei's Spike till the very end, just when he gets redeemed, he'll take the snark off. Glad you like the snarky banter - its so much fun to write and the bottle breaking scene - if it were Lindsey he'd be dead, lol. Oh sweety, don't pay attention to the weight thing... Spike, especially after Dru, just doens't like a bony ass and that's what she had. No matter the height, everyone wears their weight differently. This whole weight thing was for the sake of the fic. When I went into basic I was pretty bony at 5'3" and 115lbs, when I got out of both basic and ait, everyone said I looked way better at 130lbs - its all how you wear it and genetics. Something that's not commonly known is that , for the most part anyway, whoever goes into the military either gains or loses weight. Drill sergeants do tend to put people on a diet if they're too slender or overweight - I was made to eat banas and peanutbutter for example to gain.
