Giggles, yeah, whats good banter though without a healthy plop of smut on top. Hopefully in another week I'll be able to update, it really all depends. I am ALWAYS willing to wait for your updates because I know they are ALWAYS worth the wait!!! I absolutly LOVED this chapter, specially the whole cheese slice thing!! P.S. I was wondering if Willow and Tara are, or will be, gay in this fic. Not that I think there is anything wrong with that, its just that I know being gay in the military is a very...controversial issue.

I really do wish I could produce faster but its not in the cards at present, sighsssss - RL can be such a downer sometimes with it's obligations cutting into my muse's time. Well, obviously I have a high tolerance for assholes (which makes sense, since the only thing in common between the men I have been involved with has been the smart ass factor), but I do not hate Spike after this chapter. He is being a man and unless you are with someone like Faith, most women take a little wooing. Buffy does not want to hear that he knows he was the best she ever had, she wants to hear that he knows how good they were together and that he cannot stop thinking about her, but as stated before; boys are dumb. I really think that the blood that supplies their erections comes directly from their brains. How else could they let some of the things they think come out of their mouths when they are horny. Maybe he needs a transfusion.;-) I do like Faith calling Buffy on her attraction to Spike. I like it so much more when they are real friends versus Faith trying to mack on Buffy's men and as I have mentioned before, I really like Gunn in this. I love his little atempt at match-making for our couple, letting Buffy know that beneath the exterior Spike really is a nice guy. Hopefully, she can figure that out for herself fairly soon, but until then, bring on the hot, sweaty, angry sex!!!!!!! Thanks for a great update!!

Fantastic update. Spike is going about attracting Buffy the wrong way but then he's a bloke with quite a high opinion of himself. How can Buffy (or for that matter anyone) not find him attractive? I think she knows if she kisses him that she will not be able to resist but then it would only be sex - again. He can be nice (the bathroom scene for instance) and I don't think he's a horrible person by nature. It probably comes from doing the job he does (or did) and creating a persona which would appear to have very few weaknesses. I'm going on a bit now but can't wait to read more - soon please. LOVE IT.

It's part of the reason why she won't go there with him. Spike isn't a horrible person, just very scorned with a high wall around his heart.
