This is a remarkable story that puts Spuffy in a creatively simple place. Such a great idea, both of them being in the military. It's been done a billion times in Hollywood but not so much in the Spuffy universe. Gives me a certain "fill," makes me feel like the Buffyverse is getting more complete and dynamic. Keep up the great work!

Wow, I actually feel a bit sorry for Spike in regards to the whole kissing thing. I mean, back when they made that bet playing poker, Spike took the higher ground and here Buffy is determined to worm her way out of it when she gave him her word. I mean, ok, granted... Spike is being a royal SOB here, but, I dunno, Buffy's word should count for something right? I mean, couldn't she have given him a peck or something? Not grumbling at you here! More like grumbling at Buffy, lol!

Personally, I appreciate the longer updates, even if I have to wait a little longer for them. Says the person who emailed you about an update 3 seconds before this was posted. *hangs head in sheepish shame* That said, onto the review

1) Okay, so Spike's being a bastard at the bar. Is it wrong that I like him when he's being a bastard? After all, he's not exactly, *wrong* about Buffy wanting the yummy goodness that is Spike...

2) Willow bringing up the tampon incident was priceless. I think my eyes were nearly as wide as Spike's - just sitting here saying, "Oh, no she *DIDN'T*!" LOL! :-D

3) Totally enjoyed Buffy having the upper hand in the food court. She made him eat dirty cheese! *snoopy dance* I am really enjoying Spike realizing that her will do pretty much anything for a chance to get Buffy back into his bed. After everything her put her through in Basic, she is so getting her own back and it's brilliant to see happen.

Heh! Dishonourable discharge *snickers*. Yep, loved that bit though believe Buffy's ultimate payback came with the 'Scream for me, Spike' line...it was a classic LOL. So glad it was demonstrated that Buffy has standards and that, while she acknowledges finding her former DS physically attractive, she doesn't intend to fall over with her legs in the air for him when his personality and behaviour classifies him (in her opinion) as loathsome.
And what's up with Spike anyway still acting like a complete prick towards her? Instead of treating her like she's scum now he's acting like she's a piece of meat that should be thankful for the opportunity to satisfy his carnal appetite or something! Damn that boy needs to look at himself in the mirror (I'm sure Buffy would be willing to help - at least until he catches her ogling him in it again LOL). More soon please?

As for Spike, well, remember that there are although threr are things he admires about Buffy,he is in no way looking for a relationship after being burned twice in marriage. It's once of these scenarios where dumb Spike doesn't see he's actually growing feelings for her because of his stubborness. I'm so sorry for not reviewing the earlier chapters of this great story!! It really doesn't mean that I don't like it, because I really do :). I've just been in some kind of funk lately (propably due to a cruel winter we are having and me feeling like I would rather be like a bear and sleep through the -30 degrees celcius days and wake up in the spring...).
Spike is definitely an ass in this story, but I kind of like him that way *giggles*...I'm just very glad that Buffy is giving him a hard time (in more ways than one too...) This chapter was so hilarious! It was way funny when Spike thought that Buffy was going to jump his bones and got so hot and bothered, only to be left hanging... I can't wait for his "retaliation" and how Buffy fights back! It's going to be a dirty, dirty war...*hmmm, kinky...*giggles*... Keep up the great work sweetie, hugs and kisses to you and your muse!
