Seems as if both of them a hurting... And Spike was caught. I bet he didn't think that the truth would come out so soon. Too bad for him he didn't knew that Buffy knew and lied again.
*g* And the attraction is vice versa :) Good for later because I think it will take some time for them to get together.

And again to chapter 3:

Oh... So it was Spike's "job" to stay. Instead he ran back to work even there is no. All in order to get away?
It would have distracted Buffy a bit, so she slept but she cried again.
And Spike wasn't due to work at all? Gonna get drunk. But what reason he had, fearing to care too much? That's a weird logic he has *g*
But know he has to go home. If he goes I wonder what the others will say.
