Yay update! That was an intense chapter! I wasn't expecting such a terrible fight, maybe some awkward tension, but not a fight. Sure hope it gets better for them from her on out.

I really like this story. I'm glad you updated it. I'm very interested in seeing where you take this too. I really hope that they get together, but I like that they're not together yet. The angst is well written and it definitely makes me want to read more to find out how they make amends. Oh, btw, if you need a beta I'd be glad to help you out with glancing over stuff before you post it, just to check for grammatical errors or whatever. I know that I sometimes miss those when I'm editing my own stuff. Its just a thought though. =) Can't wait to read more of this one.

Almost everything is out... and they do have a way of twisting words.. into hateful and hurtful words.. Sad..
At least Spike has apoligized.. Now for Buffy... my hope she is there when she said ... beautiful..

Hope what has been keeping you and the muse from posting has take that turn for the better.. prefer not waiting another 6 months for an update..

Enjoyed but sad..

Poor Spike , one terrible mistake and she's making him sweat for it for years.i think he;s apologized enoughfor it , she should let him off the hook so they can get to the spuffy lovin. Great story.

These two just can't seem to get it right. It's painful but beautifully written. They really do mean well, so I know it's going to end up with a final heart to heart that clears the air and shows how much they care. I hope.

WOW Buffy really does have a bitch switch lol...there was nothing wrong with what spilke said lol he gave her a compliment and she turned it all around to something it wasnt....he is right she has to let it go how many times does he have to apologize and explain......and he is not an asshole he is just telling her what he is feeling and he shouldnt have to keep beating himself up over it he knows he was wrong she needs to stop throwing it in his face and let it go he is trying now she needs to as well :)

I was looking at this story in my favorites yesterday and missing your updates. I'm so happy to see this one! I'm glad he was able to apologize for his behavior for the present and the past however abrupt the apology may have been. I'll be looking forward to seeing her reaction. Spike being all helpful and supportive is giving Buffy a glimpse into his softer nature, but she's understandably wary. I like that she's still prickly, but thanks and a gift show she appreciates the effort he's putting forward. I'm sure there will be more friction along the way, but I liked this chapter's lack of argument and Buffy actually getting a job she wants. She needs something to bolster her self esteem after the bad break up, and this is a good place to start.

Even better.. a design job. All with Spike's help.

Waiting to see the gift. And hopefully a celebration drink or two.. Something that will loosen them up a little.
